Kotonoha actually says “jikani” and not “chikani”. “Jikani” means ‘directly’, referring to her breasts, most probably. However, I believe Makoto mishears, and thinks she says “chikani” referring to down there, as the camera pans down to her skirt. Although, I could be completely wrong. I’ll let you decide.

I believe it’s 12 in total. Episode 9 should have aired already, if it did air this week. However, I still don’t see a raw.

It took a while for a raw to get up last week too. SM didn’t get a raw up for episode 8 until only a couple days ago. I finally found a link to a raw buried in the google search so I could take screenshots last Thursday.
The fanbsub pukiwiki says it’s 12+3, suggesting that it’s going to be 12 tv episodes plus 3 OVAs. What those OVAs will be, I don’t know, assuming that information is correct. What I hope they’re not is just the three bad endings and they end up being like “choose which one you like best!”
It’s possible it could be a Summer Days OVA too.

Yeah, I’m downloading it now. Been downloading for the past 6 hours. Will take at least 1 or 2 more. Love the internet in this country(sarcasm btw). Once that’s done, it’ll be translated and hopefully released by the end of the day. (depending on how fast I can upload)

Of course, that won’t stop me from watching the raw and trying to figure out whats going on. But cool. Quick subs are nice, especially ones that are well made like these. I’ve run into some where it’s like “ok, please learn English before trying to translate into it” lol but no problems with that with these.

According to Animenewsnetwork.com, there’ll be 12TV + 6 ONA*
*ONA = Original Net Anime-Where an Original Animated Video (OAV) is Anime created for the direct to video market, Original Net Animation refers to Anime created to be released directly onto the Internet. The term ONA was first coined by the creators of Lingerie Fighter Papillon Rose and ANN decided to adopt it since 1) there was no other word to describe this new format of anime and 2) we felt “ONA” was an original and appropriate denomination. Most ONAs are fan works, however AIC recently released Mahou Yuugi directly onto the internet before allowing it to be shown on TV much later.

I believe the ONAs were already released before, and at least according to the “trivia” link for the ONA: “This ONA version is actually a collection of the endings of the game” so it sounded more like a marketing thing to sell the game.
Oh, and Matoko haters are gonna really love episode 9 lol.

btw, if it can help you (e.g. for next ep 8 release), the exact sentence of setsuna in french (12:53) is: “Oui madame, un appartement dans le 15e arrondissement s’il vous plaît”, wich can be translated as : “Yes madam, an apartment in the 15th district please”. And thx for the speedsubs!
