Surprise! Kimi ga Nozomu Eien ~Next Season~ OVA episode 01 subbed!
The OVA is an alternate retelling of the ending of the original kiminozo series. If you’ve never watched the original TV series, or played the game, then you probably won’t understand what’s going on in this OVA. The TV series has been licensed in the states quite a while back, so buy that if you have money to splurge. It’s a really good show. If you can’t afford it, then use google to locate rips or fansubs of it.
As usual, we’ll be releasing the XviD version first. It took a while to get it out since the raws provided on Tokyo Tosho weren’t very good and we had to produce another raw from the actual DVD ISO. They didn’t even deinterlace it and it was blurry and had ghosting -_- Anyways, this one should look pretty nice. The mkv/h264 version will be out next time when our encoder has more time. That one should look even better.
And lastly, please ignore the error in the start of the ED karaoke. I simply can’t hear what she sang through all the foreground noise on the second line. So, please pretend that it’s correct even though those words sortove don’t exist, lol!

I knew it…I knew that you guys had this series under your sleeves! It’s like opening up Christmas presents early! Well, actually I’m waiting for the h264v, since you guys have already spoiled me, but knowing that it’s coming only makes me more anxious, eventhough I also know the drama is coming. lol Any word yet on how long this OAV’s gonna be? There were a couple of dyslexics (Mistuki @ 3:40, 11:41) & I’m not really sure of “kidzuku” since it’s rooted from kizu (scar) from my understanding of the basics, all minor, but overall a great job! Heck, so far you guys are the 1st & only ones that has subbed this OAV.
I have to say that I thought it was going full speed drama during the beginning scenes, but slowed down until about the end. Those who’ve seen the TV series know that so far this 1st OAV isn’t as strong emotionally as the original, but that’s why it’s an alternate ending of the series mainly from Haruka’s perspective. Hopefully, I’ll break the tissues for the 2nd & 3rd installments;) Now, if I can just be patient & wait for 2 month breaks in between them;(

On a different note, does anyone know what ever happened to Himesama Goyoujin? I’ve only seen the 1st ep & dled up to 6, but then it suddenly stopped. Is there a possibility ofit being continued or is it permanently stopped?

Himesama Goyoujin, is completed up to ep 11, undoubtly due to circumstances that I can’t control, I will do my best to make sure that it’ll get out by if not somewhere in Jan 08. But yes, it’s definetely ongoing, oh however so slowly it’s been moving.

Will you guys consider doing a mech series? Something like…Macross Frontier (wink,wink)? I need something to cleanse my anime palette after all the drama series I’ve seen so far this year & an update to an old school classic should do it. I remember being weirded out when I heard the main character’s name was Hikaru from the original Japanese dub when I’ve always heard it as “Oh, Rick!” (Thinking about it now that I’ve matured slightly, it sounds like somebody having an orgasm) ROTFL

i loved the original kiminozo and found it to be one of the most involving anime i have ever watched, even so far as to make me weep at the end, the new ova will be a good addition to the series and good chance to see another arc in the story as aposed to the mitsuki ending 🙂

Man, it suck so much that there is no English version of the game, it’s something I’d actually pay money for.
Takayuki is such an idiot, even I know that you aren’t supposed to let your GF know that you are that devoted to her and don’t care about yourself.
