Well, most of you have probably already watched this, but for those who haven’t, this show is definitely one of the must sees this season. Not sure what else to say. It’s just a good show.

I so wish the h264 releases would come out faster. Hate crap XviDs. Still Thanks m33w for these great releases, keep it up and your supporters will only grow. ^_^

Well most of the wait was to find a reasonable RAW… As most of the raws for this show are total crap/garbage (ready for disposal…).
The caps we use now are from a different capper then with the 1st ep, as that person takes like 2 weeks to creatie 1 raw :S. But still it airs on a different channel, which is thankfully digital. The first broadcast (2 days earlier then the rest) is from analogue source… Hence the bad quality.

I wish we could go faster as well, but again, 2 problems. Firstly, it’s the lack of decent raws from CTC, the first channel to air it. Secondly, it airs on about the same day as True Tears, and I have that one higher on the priority list.

Very impressive! Compressing it down to the size of a regular rmv file. I saw a 1280×720 Ep 2 raw that’s 229mb in size. I guess the 576p screen size has a lot to do with it?
BTW, what’s up with the tracker? I get: Error reading torrent: BDecoder::getByteArrayFromStream: truncated . I already tried “saving the torrent file to the folder” trick with Azureus, which usually works if there’s a problem, but it’s not in this case.

Never seen that problem on a torrent before. It seems to be running fine for others. It’s being tracked on multiple servers, but we didn’t get a chance to upload to all of them. The problem should solve itself once it cycles to the correct tracker. But, who knows.
And it’s only 100mb because the episode itself isn’t very sharp. There aren’t any better raws, so we can’t even make sharper and higher sized files even if we wanted to.

I had to shop around torrent search sites & it seems that Mininova’s (http://www.mininova.org/get/1126197) is finally working for me just in case others are having the same problem if they’re using Azureus.

1280×720 with this anime is totally useless, as even the channels don’t broadcast it at that resolution (those caps are from analogue sources…) That’s why the 720p raws look like crap. Really gross pixelation, that hurts your eyes -_-
The best raws I found were the 1024×576 raws capped from D-MXTV or BS11 (both digital), so am gonna keep using BS11 caps. Sadly the BS11 airs like 3 days later then on CTC.
720p will not give you any advantage with this anime. As the source isn’t that great.

Ow and also about the size. 229MB is total overkill with this anime. As it’s not that detailed. Even for 720p it’s total overkill. I think I could encode the 720p ones easily at 140MB per ep, but am not gonna, as the 576p ones look better.

Thanks for the release. I strongly suggest (or should I say, request) that you make this series a higher priority. It’s a good series and one worthy of such good subs such as yours. You’d be doing yourselves (as well as the rest of us) a favor by doing so.

Well, Shigofumi is quite high priority for us, but there are still two problems. Firstly, it airs at nearly the same time as True Tears. And 2nd, the raw that we use is from channel BS11. The rest just look horrible. Plus, the one from BS11 only airs on Saturday, midnight.

Take whatever time you need, just sub it. I stated previously that TT was the best you picked up this season so far, but if this Shigofumi continues likes this I was wrong – it’s gonna wipe the floor with the rest…

True TT seems great but now Shigofumi has caught my interest as well. Oh and Shigofumi should have a MUCH more bigger priority than that crap Rosario+Vampire … I think many will agree since a lot of people are fucking sick of brainless Huge tit ‘Pantsu’ stuff.
