I must be a sucker for these kind of shows. Another great episode with Hiromi going on the offensive. Can’t wait for the next episode.
Errata: 1. The dance that Shin’ichiro was practising in episode 01 should be the Mugiha Dance. I took a shot in the dark at the name. But, it’s sortove written on the basketball uniforms in this episode (see pic below). -_-
2: I skipped the song that Noe was singing at the end of episode 01. It’s “There’s a roach under Shin’ichiro’s shoe.” I thought it was insignificant, but uhhh, I thought wrong.
Also, I modified the fonts a little for this episode. Should be more aesthetically pleasing now. It may seem like this week’s episode has come out really fast, but that’s because we waited a few days to do episode 01. Expect future episodes to come out around this time every week. Give or take several hours.

Thanks for the release. I’m really enjoying several shows that started recently, True Tears being one of them. By the way, I noticed the tag information for the episode is incorrect, and still refers to the title of the first episode – at least for the h264. I haven’t checked the XViD release. I doubt many people will care about this, but it’s something to look into if you’re bored. Can’t wait for Episode 3, keep up the good work! 🙂

The picture looks like spotted in pastel colors.
Why don’t you use more MB for one episode – like 230 – 250MB?

there are grammatic errors on the sub in both episodes:
On Episode1
2:06 ‘you tears’ –> should be ‘your tears’
Episode2
4:04 ‘me head’ –> should be ‘my head’

more bitrate won’t do the quality any good. As the source isn’t any better (it’s not real HD like true tears). I already filtered it quite some so it is watchable with the MKV.

4:04 should NOT be ‘my head’. Perhaps a comma after ‘me’ would have made it clearer though. Or maybe a hyphen for head-first. Whichever.

Also more bitrate/size doesn’t equal quality. Compare our True Tears with Rozen, they have higher bitrate/size but theirs looks like crap.

Sure, no hard feelings. It got me a bit angry there because, I am aware of these errors and I am angry that we make them. But, really, there’s nothing we can do once it’s released.
I look at the same script over and over for hours, and sometimes, I just don’t want to watch the same episode again for the 5th time. I trust the others to do a good job fixing all the errors, but I guess they’re not very thorough since they probably trust me too much not to make typos like ‘you tears’.

Well I checked the site you postet bG and your version is indeed very beautiful in comparison. Rozen’s looks somewhat more saturated..what do you think of it?
I especially like the OP/ED Karaoke m.3.3.w uses, it’s just plain nice in this red font, doesn’t need fancy typesetting or whatever that’s called. Easier to follow anyways =)
The font used for dialogue looks actually much better when watching the actual Episode so no complaints.
If you’re saying that any more bitrate is just wasted filesize I’ll just believe in you 😛
I just thought it to be weird cuz’ old shows aired in SDTV 640*480 are of the same size, well they’re not h264 but still =)
I first backed off like some other people did apparently, but now I’m convinced that you’re doing a pretty decent job and know your stuff.
You don’t have to rush out releases like that, at least to me a few days more or less don’t really matter but I’m just one little mouse out there xD
The fact that a HDTV show can look like this while maintaining the same filesize as an good old Bleach Episode astounds me!
Must be your efforts filtering and whatnot, take your time and never mind any buggers complaining 😀

after the first episode wasn’t quite sure whether to take it or not – but after this one – i have found some nice & not ecchi anime, that can be watched just to relax your mind and remember the days of colorful school days – the romance and the pain after it 😉
