However, there’s a huge obstacle blocking his path. With Shin coming to terms with his supposed relation with Hiromi, Noe finally realising her feelings, and Aiko reaching her breaking point, how will things pan out?

I think the show seems short because the characterization, dialogue and story pacing is near pitch-perfect. I’m sure glad those w.0.0.f. guys are subbing this show just so I can see Shin tell his uber-bitch mom to shove it I hope.

Was wondering if there was some sort of weather related problem when the episode was first broadcast that affected the raw? The last 2 episodes seemed to have that static snow effect for a split second. I’ve seen something like that happen when the satellite tries to get the signal back when it’s real cloudy or during a rain or winter storm. Heck, even cable does that sometimes.
Poor Shin’ichiro. What’s a guy to do when he’s that popular? Please don’t turn out to be Makoto…(3x)

After watching ep. 7 my thoughts on who shin should end up with are set now. If he choses Ai-chan we get a “nice boat” ending, my heart goes out to her but if Shin was the type of guy that would betray a friend she wouldn’t love him and his look of abject terror at the end of this episode says he won’t(I hope). Hiromi and Shin have the deepest mutual bond however her first reaction to adversity is to hurt the person she cares about but then she has been taking lessons from Shin’s uber-bitch mother(who I’m guessing she’s going to grow up to be just like if Noe doesn’t knock some sense into her). And that leaves Noe. Yes, she’s a bit nuts, however, she is at least honest and trys her best to make sure Shin is honest as well. And when he is hurting she 1st trys to help him fix it and barring that fights for him making her the only sane choice from a “whats best for Shin” point of view.

After watching the episode, I believe that shin only likes Noe as a friend, shin is still confused about his feelings towards Hiromi. Ai doesn’t stand a chance, she’s just thrown into the mix to spice things up. Jun just annoys me, if I knew a guy like that I’d prolly would have knocked him out already. I feel empathy for Miyo cause he’s the one who is caught in the middle of all of this, all he wants is Ai’s affection. What Shin doesn’t realize is that he’s the one to blame for the mess.
1) Why doesn’t he just straight up and have a nice family talk about the Hiromi situation to clear things up. (Anime is so over the top, don’t judge asian culture with anime)
2) He literally forced Ai to go out with miyo (granted Ai should have had the backbone to say “miyo I don’t like you in that way.”)
To me Noe is perceived as an immature child, she has yet to learn to grasp the concept of love and what it implies.
Shin-Hiromi FTW!!!!!!!!
The reason why I like Hiromi is because she’s not perfect she has secrets, and she has some very deep emotions towards Shin, but she has to keep them in check because of Shin’s evil mother. Her love towards Shin far exceeds that of a high school crush. And besides she’s the only one with long hair, short hair girls are creepy.
If this anime is going to have a “boat” ending look towards Miyo to be the one to do it. Noe would be a close second, she gives that fatal attraction vibe.

Watched it last night and man!!! Never thought Noe would such a shy type when in love…. And an aggressive *spoiler* from Ai-chan shocked me there!
Now the only thing i am waiting for is Hiromi’s confession…. And Shin’s final decision….
Oh and yeah…. it felt a bit longer(compared to the previous episodes) but it’s still short…. due to the turn of events I guess…. T.T. FTW!!!~

Feel daft to ask, but what is that “Nice Boat” ending I see mentioned a couple of times?
I have to agree that Shinfichiro could solve this whole mess by baracading the door next time the have a family meal and have a good chat. Then again, then it wouldn’t need 13 episodes to resolve so let’s forgive him this one.
As for the girl that Shinfichiro ends up with … or rather the one I want to see him end up with.
While Hirimo is a cute and good girl I just don’t see her end up with Shinfichiro if not just because of the fact that they’re half brother and sister. It has still to be revealed, but I’m thinking it will turn out that Shinfichiros father acted as a donor for his business pall and that this was done without consent of his mother or perhaps before Shinfichiros father and mother got together. It could be an affair also ofcourse, but I somehow doubt this sceneario.
As for Ai-chan … she is even cuter then Hirimo (imho that is and at time I find her resembling Noe a lot), but Shinfichiro has never seen her as anything then a friend. You might say she blew it herself when she went along when Shinfichiro sort of coupled her to Miyokichi and for all this time never let Shinfichiro know that she like him (instead). The look on Shinfichiro face at the end of the episode basically says it all and while I do feel bad for Ai-chan I really can’t see it ending with these two.
So that leaves Noe. Cute, but at times a bit odd, but she has her heart in the right place. Basically I feel they’re made for eachother in the way they’re busy (even if they don’t release it themselves) overcoming the others problems or rather helping the other overcoming his/her problem.
Time will tell.

if moetaku wants to be productive they should sub kimi aru, cause ayako is lagging behind. I do appreciate that they are subbing the series for my enjoyment and that subbing is a long process. About the video glitches.
The w.0.0.f encoder is still trying to figure out why it is happening, as it’s totally random. He uses 64bit vista, cause of the 4GB RAM his comp has. XP x64 is crappy with driver support, so that’s a no go.
We don’t think it’s specifically a Vista problem. But still trying to figure that out.
Could be a problem with the encoding tools used.
Strange thing still that other H.264 encodes don’t get that error, like Shigofumi…
And uhm. People should stop saying that True Tears is upscaled. True Tears is one of the shows of this season which is broadcasted in TrueHD. 1080p raws are also out there, but they don’t benefit the quality really.

Glad to hear that from the w.0.0.f guys… Anyways (just a wild idea) could it be that the resolution at which the encode was done affect it in any way? I looked at Shigofumi and it has 1024X576 while TT has 1280×720… If the encoder could encode TT at 1024X576 and have no glitches then this would definitely answer the glitch problem…
Before the episodes with glitches, did the encoder use WinXP?

This eplsosode got me crying. For a guy 24,beening single, Ifm piss that Shin did what he did, blew off Hirimo, but its weird that his mom is starting some kind of mess, that might turn out that he has a half sister or something “if its true ,or not”. But Noe has fell in love with him! Then Ai-Chan pulls that trick out at the end!
