Sorry that the release and post was late. I was busy the other day and the final episode took a bit longer to do with the different ending song and all. I hope you all have enjoyed the series. I didn’t expect the final episode to turn out like that, but I guess everything is concluded.

i didnt like how hayami came back… a bit dodgy with the parallels between hayami and takuma’s mom also… if it was like that the faerie might as well have brought back his mom…

Kenny, please remember not to spoil.
This is a place to comment but not to explicitly reveal unnecessary things.

I didn’t like the ending, in my opinion.

Thanks a lot for subbing this series! Looking forward to R+V, and TT+Shigo from w00f!

    I think it was good.

As for realism, I have seen weirder things in anime.

    I really enjoyed the series.

Good job on the subbing to those responsible.

I hated it till the last 2 minutes. Now I’m in the middle on it. If they had just ended it like ep 8 I’d be happy.

    lolwut?

    – 2nd half of the game condensed into three minutes out of 12 episodes (sans H scenes). I was hoping for 12 MORE episodes instead of just three minutes.
    – Who got with who and made what? (also, sans H scenes). That one was a longshot that I never expected.
    – Characters with slightly dominatrix clothing as an end-game (you guessed it, sans H scenes). That’s an odd change of wardrobe.
    – Seiyuu retained for end-game breaks suspension of disbelief. I mean, it was a relief to hear the voices go back to normal…but end-game?

At least the cartoon somewhat ended on the note that I wanted. And someone FINALLY stuck it to the man. Some sappy the squirrel though.

You shouldn’t post spoilers if you are going to you should wait atleast 24 hours from release. Basically at this point you will not get an answer.

Well, after a long time I finally decided to give you a few thankful words. I am one of those quiet watchers (=leecheers).

Thank you for many happy hours with Ninomiya, the last episodes of the Nice Boat, a suprisingly interesting Myself Yourself and my favourite so far, H20. I haven’t seen the last episode but I enjoyed it pretty much so far. If only he had chosen Hinata… 🙂

Let’s see what next season brings. If you pick up Special A I might probably watch it but so far there’s not much that interests me. But maybe there will be a suprise like Myself Yourself was.

So, Thanks again from a lonely student!

lol.. ending.. to.. bad.. to.. put.. into.. words..

Seriously how can someone come up with an ending like that… fine if it’d be some sort of follow-up with an in-depth explanation of everything

  20. ohtheirony
    4:41 pm on March 23rd, 2008

Thanks for finishing this series. It ended funny, sad, & weird all at the same time. You’ll laugh at the mommy milking incident, feel bad at what happened to Hiromi, & get weirded out by who the parents of the baby at the end were (just when you thought it was Takuma…you’ll get blindsided). I didn’t even consciously realize I made a pun. lol

This is definitely an ending that can’t be comprehended by just watching it once.

There are a lot of great series that are ending this month like Kimikiss, Spice & Wolf (which would’ve been ironic if it was subbed by Bakawolf), Shigofumi, & True Tears. I can’t really call Clannad great cuz they still haven’t explained why they keep on sticking that solitary girl & junk robot into the storyline, which is absolutely pointless (even with the play). Heck, I’ll even miss the mediocre JUGgernaut, Dragonaut, I mean. You can’t help but try to give it a passing grade even though the last character twist was weird, but it still tries to take itself seriously, somehow, eventhough the gravity defying boobies both are distractions & eye candy at the same time;) It’s like Ninomiya’s replacement with a pint of plot! Hopefully, Spice & Wolf has a 2nd season.

  21. thanks for all the subs m33w.

I loved this series from the start, but the ending just left me scratching my head. I have no idea why they ended it the way that they did. Heck, I still don’t comprehend the ending entirely but I guess they wanted us to draw our own conclusions on that one.

Thanks so much for subbing this series!! Overall it was a great show. Thanks for all your hard work.

Hello. I’ve been away for a while so I had to watch the last three episodes at once. First of all thanks for the subs, this was an excellent show till the last episode. I’ve hated the village elder since he first appearance, so I was kind of happy at how he ended. Hirose’s circumstance at the end make me remember of the soap operas my mother generally sees in the afternoon, but with a fun development. And for Hayami she must have suffered more in the show, I don’t think she had paid the sins of her family with just that, now talking serious God, Kamisama or whoever you choose really hate her. Now the end was pretty bad the author must have felt that he/her owe it to her, but the only good part about it was the baby thing.
Well thats all I have to continue watching delayed anime so goodbye for all of you and thank to all bakawolf and m.3.3.w staff for this great show. Now i’m going to see Rosario and to continue downloading T.T. and S. so i will come back.
Don’t know much about the future shows but i hope they are as good as H2O, And is one of them something like Rosario or Ninomiya-kun and I know you know what I mean.

For all we know, the appearance of Hayami at the end could’ve been a temporary thing. Like a reward for setting the village straight, he gets to see her for a few minutes or something like that before she has to go back. So the ending is somewhat a mystery…

Ok i have seen alota anime and i have 2 say this ending was W T F. thats all i can think of and igo with tom’s comment 2 is she back perm or temp or in his mind or what???

The end is visually wrong. There are two train tracks. you see the two on the farthest (2nd one) . The train crosses on the nearer one. [occurs 17:20 in final episode]

So the after credits just leaves me going WTF?

But thanks for taking on these projects, I do appreciate your work.

    Still Otoha FTW!

Throughout the series she is the one responsible for all the changes of all characters.

There’s nothing wrong resurrecting Hayami Kohinata in the end. Just that what’s with the bell choker she wore?

Is she a dog or cat or whatever?

Let me add my “Thank you!” to the others here, Fantastic job subbing guys, I don’t think I’ve seen better subs anywhere. I’m eternally grateful that you do what you do!

As for that H2O… … … I absolutely loved it until the last episode. (I’ll try to avoid a real spoiler, though it’s probably pointless by now)

That they do what they did in the most emotionally damaging way possible, and it somehow makes everything better is just wrong. That they then make everything magically all right for no reason that I can tell is even worse (from a writing point of view). I feel that this last episode took this show from a 9 out of ten down to a 3.5

The ending is here and the very last part of the episode was like … O_O ? before that part i was thinking how i will whine about (SPOILER!) good ending in sad one etc., but i changed my mind after the very last moments – all is good, that ends good 😉 Not spectacular, not heart breaking (speaking about the VERY end, not whole series), but it was good (i mean – positive) 😉

Thank you for your really great work m.3.3.w!!! From 1st to 12th – together with us.

PS. Just 2 eps of True Tears (haven’t seen yet ep12) and i am done with romance – these things disturb me more than any horror/violence/thriller/psycho anime out there. 😉

keep up the good subbing m33w & baka-wolf

  40. errumm
    4:28 pm on March 25th, 2008

I personally think it would have been better with either of these endings:

    1) Hayami DIDN’T die and was safely on the other side of the train tracks with the kid and then blah blah blah.

    2) Hayami DID die…which is already pretty sad and the Otoha we see running at the end was the daughter of Takuma’s and Hotaru’s.

It is still a happy ending…but I think it could have been better. Hamaji having a kid was too funny…I’m still laughing, but it’s great I guess. Oh well it was still a good anime and thanks m33w & baka-wolf for subbing it!!!

It taked two times to watch and to get whats happening there… well

but ending came too fast because 12 series… well shortest anime i know is 2 series (each 40 min), but, if those animators weren’t that lazy, maybe this anime can be longer…

    Also i don’t get why Hayami-chan (ehhh.) killed herself… but well…

And fourth thing – what was otohas (or whatever was that little girls name) mission? To meke him see for some time (false 😀 :D), to accept him truth ( well – what is this truth)…

I quite liked the ending. But I generally didn’t like how the storyline got put together overall, like how the characters over reacted over little things, or why would the villagers have so much against a harmless little girl when with common sense she did nothing wrong, instead they just blame her like some baby. meh

Anyway, this is my first time posting and I would like to say thank you for subbing. I have also finished watching True Tears. Many thanks. 🙂 I hope to see you subbing more shows!
