Sorry, was lazy to update this. Anyway, something different actually happens in episode 9. Only took that many episodes. They should have done this earlier. I’ve not actually watched 10, so no idea what happens there. Not sure why this show is so popular either. (Actually, I do know why) Anyways, enjoy.

I don’t know… is it just me or the animation(or drawing) became a bit different at episode 10? It looks kind of cool actually… Any news in japan maybe about R+V?

Is Tsukune just a wuss this whole show? or do they find out he has some special powers too? I kinda get the feeling in the last episode everyone is going to find out he is human, and then the bus driver is going to be like… Naw uhhh. Humans can’t pass through the portal to the monster realm… BLAM! Tsukune is some S-Class monster.

also, what struck me as odd was, don’t you turn into a vampire when they suck your blood? I mean, he would be a vampire from episode 1.

Well, vampire mythology has very many versions – most involve some control of the master vampire whether (s)he sucks just a bit, too death, or to convert. And making Tsukune a vampire kind of would kill the story…

read the manga or wait till episode 13 to find out lol

If you haven’t read the manga yet, I suggest taking a look. Theres actually a story and plot to follow, but you guys might end up getting pissed at the approach they decided to take for the anime.

and? they don’t need to follow the manga

i find these 2 eps quite a good way to go – it was like a fresh air – because these 2 eps were more action than anything else (episode 10 – don’t flame me – somehow reminded me of Claymore, but dunno why).

Seems like the episode 10 was made in another studio or the whole crew was replaced/on vacation. And i say it’s not that bad either 😀

And another thing – i thought that most of the people who watch this anime already knew that it’s about fanservice/ecchi more than anything else – but what i see now – they are frustrated with more of fanservice/action in ep 10 (judging by the forum) and once again ask where is the plot! Oh come on guys – this anime from the beginning is no plot-rich-story – and judging by the comments it seems that plot is left for the manga – so be it – if you want to have plot – have it in manga. leave this anime alone.

sorry for some frustration – but it bugs me down just to see that people bash down this simple anime which doesn’t pretend to be anything more than it is – light fanservice/fun service.

And thanks for the great job m33w !!! 😉

most people here are hypocrits because they say the anime sucks but still watch it

  19. RealTears
    7:51 pm on March 13th, 2008

yup and they throw in the excuse… “well once I start a series I gotta finish it” Why do you have to finish it? If you ate something that tasted like shit would you have to finish that too?
If you think that it is a pointless fan service show DON’T CONTINUE TO WATCH IT!!!

I can think of worst shows to watch.. naruto for instance. Not every show is going to turn out like the uber True Tears.

How many books/novels/mangas to movies/anime/tv show ever follow closely to each other?

Probably, the reason why Rosario to Vampire is popular, is due to the lack of new ecchi-anime this year.
The way of drawing isn’t quite the artwork, well, it’s been seen, and better, in older anime series.
Actually the idea of having the heroine being the ‘strongest’ of the anime seems to have a positive effekt on the audience, eg. Shakugan no Shana (though it’s very slow to get action) and Zero no Tsukaima.
This time the animecrew just ended of mixing the two types of anime – the kind where the heroine is the powerfullest, often despises, but still in some way likes the maincharacter. And the usally ‘harem’ kind of ecchi anime, with the usual scenes, plots and so on (indeed a very large deal of ecchi/harem animes makes/does the same plot). But well, it seems to have some sort of influence of the auidience.

In the case of Rosario to Vampire, my oppinion is, that the plot was missing in the first episodes, it wasn’t truly unexptected since it was so like other ecchi/harem animes (from the start), with the exeption of the sideplot – Vampire/monster-thing and battles.
But an ecchi/harem-anime isn’t to be expected to have an incredibly interesting plot.
    Usaly it invovles:
    – The naked scene (the heroine/female maincharacter is been seen naked, or partly, by the hero/male maincharacter)
    – The introduction scenes (get to meet the harem of which the hero/male maincharacter has ‘issues’ with, but obviously chooses the heroine/female maincharacter)
    – The beach scene (says it self, though it also appears to be possible in a pool or like)
    – The beginning of a real plot, or like
    – The ending (often that the hero/male maincharacter chooses the heroine/female maincharacter from the other harem-girls)

So all in all, Rosario to Vampire is a good show, it’s a matter of oppinion, wheter you like it or not.

So in the end, I recommend, that the m33w crew should drop the incredibly negative tone, when addressing the Rosario to Vampire show. It might be that you don’t personally like it yourselves, but other people might do.

    That’s all for now…

  22. Well, I personally like the manga more, but the anime is the lighter adaptation of the manga which goes deeper into the plot. I was hoping for it to have more episodes instead of 13. Oh well, we can only hope for a second season. For people who likes Rosario + Vampire, spring animes has possibly a better vampire anime, it’s called vmapire knight and personally I’m more interested in that.

I’ve followed the manga and it goes much further than what the anime has reached. In the first seasons thirteen episodes they will probably finish the student police arc and in the next season start off with those delinquent mixed breeds. There is a ton of fanservice in this anime, much more than the manga.

actually, i really like the sarcastic comments of m33w

i love this series too, but i also see it for what it is: a plotless tub of action and fanservice (with a humoristic tone).

and i appreciate the fact that the subbers are not oblivious to that and take it with a grain of salt.

you guys should do the same about their comments 😛

keep up the good work m33w/bakawolf, and keep up the comments too 😉
