In case you guys haven’t yet noticed, r v ep 13 is finally out. And it’s also the final episode(thank goodness!). Sorry that the we don’t really keep the posts and the project page up-to-date for r v since no one is in charge of handling that for the m33w side. When the batch comes out, I’ll post the links here too. For now, if you’re looking for the episodes, please go to www.tokyotosho.com and search: rosario. You’ll find the BT downloads there. Or head over to baka-wolf.com for DDL. BT links are also posted there.

  1. Tsukune kicked way more ass in the manga, they made him way too wussy in the anime. I encourage all those who were dissapointed by the anime to read the manga.

I enjoyed the show, it was also a huge success on veoh.com. I really hope that there is a second season or a remake of the first that stays true to the manga. Come on who can get tired of inner moka? she’s just so damn hot.

Agreed with the manga stuff, besides I’m really happy that most of the series (well, the average ones) are ending right now.

there’s an old saying that says “out with the old and in with the new” if I’m right. Just like an air conditioner ^^

We’ll it does not have to follow the manga, but I wouldn’t have minded it being good 😉 Nice opening and endings.
Thanks for the work, m.3.3.w, even though you give most cred to your partner. I think I’ll try the manga this summer when it is translated.

Btw, if I were Tsukune (the most stupid Japanese name I heard), I would take that ice-girl…

If you noticed in the anime, even though Tsukune didnt go vampire on him… He still did one thing

He saved Moka, and his eyes changed color to Moka’s eyes. its obvious that they included his vampire transformation. However they stayed somewhat faithful to the manga. If they make a season two, it will mostly conclude the antithesis arc, in which we will see a lot of tsukune ass kickery. If they didn’t want to include the vampire form, they would have left his eye color, body type, and way he acted the same.

Good job on the subs, and I’m sure that we will see a season two

Fuck those spoilers man. Is it so hard to wait just one day to make comments with spoilers or just a simple “I’m so fucking excited that I have to tell how it was that part” so everyone who hasn’t seen it yet just doesn’t read that comment. Usually I don’t really care but today April first everyone have to double check the veracity of the release, especially since there is not direct link to the torrent in this page.

Sorry for the hard words but it just made me mad to read about what has happened in the show before seeing it.

Just read through ten volumes of the manga.. Well, now it’s disappointing to see what they have done with the anime….

  16. Manga > Anime 10x, it would’ve been SO MUCH F*CKING BETTER IF THEY FOLLOWED THE F*CKING MANGA. Why do they even bother changing it? And the last episode completely ended wrong. Ugh.

@flamerokz so why does the anime suck?

  18. RealTears
    1:00 pm on April 3rd, 2008

so the anime sucked? yet you still watched it and kept begging when it was going to be subbed, then came up with the lame excuse “well when i start an anime i have to finish it?”

Why do you have to finish watching a supposedly sub par anime? was it a need to calm your obsessive compulsive behavior? Or is your brain too stupid to tell you to stop watching?

Sorry that the anime didn’t live up to your expectations, because you read the manga.. ever try watching an anime without reading the manga so you don’t spoil it for yourself?

BTW from my understanding the manga is categorized as ecchi… so the fan-service should have been expected.

For those who thought that it can’t suck (& I mean it as a pun) anymore, the 2nd season is slated for Oct tentatively titled Rosario + Vampire Capu2 according to ANN.

I’m gonna go head and say that I’m another one saying the manga is way better than the anime. I’m not saying this series anime, but they could have done much better with its direction. I honestly think the manga did much better with the character development and also with the presentation of the plot. With the anime, a lot of the episodes had the monster of the week feel to it. Plus the changes to the story that deviated from the manga where some serious ones. Also, the manga isn’t ecchi and the anime added WAY more fan-service (which imo isn’t bad at all). Still, I did enjoy the anime but if they followed how creator’s envisioned it, it could have been better.

meant to say- I’m not saying this series sucked

I’m am amazed…wen there could actually be a plot they end the series lol.

I don’t know about you guys but i started to read the manga after i watched ep 1 and i started to really enjoy them both, but time passed and the plot from this anime went really bad and i can’t help to advise you to at least try and read the manga, you will warship it if you liked this anime cus the anime’s plot pretty much sucks balls.

And b4 there is a as*hole saying “why did you watch the anime then” i will say this “cus i was hopping for the anime to start following the manga again like in the first episodes. oh well the anime could be better (less fan service more plot) but the subs were amazing tnx for the hard work guys

lol – sod the manga and the plot – I watched it for the epic panties, the jubblies, the comedy, and the occasional awwwww moments. Oh and the music.

It was a fun, light hearted lolfest that took the place of Ninomiya kun.

With a second series no less.

As said, I’ve began to read the manga AFTER I finished the anime. I’m not saying the anime is shxx, I’m just saying I’m a bit disappointed.
It’s like Elfen Lied – the same situation: the plot was messed up, important things were cut out or made different. Or DearS, where the anime stalled and the manga ended… I could continue with a lot of examples, but I guess that’s what it will always be. Two worlds incomparable to each other… Sometimes they do it right to not spoil the manga and sometimes it cannot be helped – that’s when the anime is comming up faster than the manga chapters..
It’s like in real world -> you read a good book, you hear that I’ll be made into a movie, you watch it in the cinema, you come out totally pissed…
Well, guess everyone should understand what I tried to say […]

I understand what you are saying and that’s what I’ve been trying to point out. Don’t try to compare the two, do you think Lord of the Rings followed the novel?

Not the greatest of animes. At certain moments like when the vampire girl sucks blood from the main character, or they explain the vampire’s transformation (every freaking episode) I had to skip forward. Should have just skipped the whole thing.
I mean Umisho was ecci too but it was actually funny and invigorating. To anyone who havent watched it yet: I advice you not to waste your time.

haha gay episode. manga is so much better. good luck with r+v in second season, hopefully we’ll se much more tsukune ass kicking there.
although they tried to hint that tsukune obtained bit of vampire (when tsukune ‘somehow’ dodged the fox’s fire attack and got on a rooftop that appeared out of nowhere while holding moka in his arms)
don’t get me wrong, i really like r+v but i was seriously disappointed in the bad work of climax and stuff they did

The ending left me with many questions, although the action was pretty great and the fox demon character was pretty much awesome.

    I’m awaiting the next season.

I agree to the person Lycan though, manga is wayyy better.

Yeah, this show really sucked. No plot, no excitement, braindead writing, excessive and unnecessary fanservice.

Also, the whole “Rosary comes off, invincible Moka emerges and beats up the now hopelessly outmatched villain” gimick ruined it even further. What’s the point of a heroine who is so strong that she never has work hard for any victory?

It wasn’t so much a monster-of-the-week as it was push-over-of-the -week. Besides, shouldn’t the other Youkai have known what to expect from a “super-vampire”? All that a serious villain needs to know is to have either a bucket of water at hand or a fire hose.

    *Sploosh*+ strong attack+ applying intelligence =Problem solved.

Sucks being a vampire, doesn’t it?

Okay, so I read the manga and watched the anime.. I thought both were equally great. If you want a more in depth story, go with the manga… but if you just want to sit down and watch something enjoyable go with the anime.. You don’t have to always compare an anime to it’s manga.

Rosario Vampire anime is headed for second season for which production has already begun. Good news for fans of both the anime and manga, we’ll see how they do for round two.
