I don’t think it was wise to release the episode 11 with red text with the full translation of the episode below it. I mean someone can take a look to the episode take a transcript of the entire episode, while they are doing this downloading the raw file. Then time the transcript sub script to the raw file and then encode it and upload it to cruncyroll. It should not take that long to get it done if you are resourceful enough. No I won’t be doing it because I respect m.3.3.w fansubs group.
You should have used a fake script timings instead for your “ode to crunchyroll.”

I use crunchyroll as well as Imeem.com I don’t think theres anything wrong with that. Yes the quality sucks but when thats the only site that has an anime, what are you going to do?

WTF, thanks guys you just wasted my 170+mb download, I’ve always been trusted you (m30w) with your shows but now I’d probably never download your stuff again.
I know this is all free media so I’m not going flame anyone in particular for this, except I’ll probably convert over and watch anime from crunchy roll from now on, at least their shows are only 50mb and you can preview the first secs to check if its a prank.

Even so, Veoh is always still better quality then CR, thne Daily motion, and ofcourse youtube… And then there is also google video… so alot more choice with qaulity. *misses stage 6* even tho I said that, you will always be seeing pixelated anime if you streaming them, thus you download it, and watch in HQ, or in lesser quality if you got a bit of low end pc….

when episode 10 didnt show up on the site, i googled the anime subbers, came here (started watching Special A, as well, fuunny stuff, but thats besides the point). Anywhoo, I watch videos on crunchyroll, i dont like downloading videos onto my computer until i watch the entire thing, in case it turns to crap.
I was glad when ep 10 was posted, when i started watching it though, I noticed it was in plain white text, made me go o.O then came here to check if you guys had uploaded it as well. You hadnt, so I assumed someone took your script and used windows movie maker or something.
Your reaction to it, though? That was uncalled for, would’ve looked more mature if you would’ve stated the issue, the fact that you’re mad etc etc, no need to point a finger, a simple note to one of crunchys mod to take the video down would’ve been enough.
And then for that apology? I respect the people who sub the animes I watch, I’m as patient as possible and wait if the subbers are delayed. I dont care much for the quality of the video, if its readable, and I can see whats going on, good enough for me, but that was just plain disrespect right there.
We at crunchy are fans of the anime, therefore, fans of the subbers. The people on this site seem to think we’re just a bunch of little idiots.
The girl who did it, the Hispanic bitch as some of you guys called her (either here or in the Itazura na Kiss forum section) wasnt stupid, as you deemed her. She saw the impatient people who posted ‘wheres ep 10’ she saw the people trying to explain the delay, she came here saw the script and the raw (honestly, you walked right into that ._., posting up a script to an unsubbed anime?) put two and two together, and uploaded it on crunchy.

I’m pretty sure it’s a well known fact that fansub groups don’t want their work posted on VEOH, CrunchyRoll, youtube or anything like that because it makes their work look like a dogs breakfast, amongst other reasons like calling attention to themselves and RAW providers etc etc etc. So, noobcakes AKA AngelTears98 get a grip and have a laugh like the rest of us or start your own fansub group and ONLY upload to some half-arsed streaming site like CR. And just to add: If you (hispanic girl and others) gonna put a unfinished script together into a video, even hardsub it, you have to ask permission from m33w because the translation, no, the whole script is their “property”. m33w released the script because they trusted the users to use it only for themselves with the raw until they release the finished encode with the finished subs. Even if people tag it “pre-release”, it’s still a backdrop in quality that people will bitch about without reading the homepage and they will push the fault to m33w although it isn’t even m33w’s fault!
Again, the script was released for impatient people, m33w cared for you and your reaction was? “BAWWWWW your A WEEK late i want it NAO sub faster” and “they should make up for being slow” (? lol). Honestly I had to laugh how many people fell for that troll. I downloaded it myself because I thought it might be as funny as Fake Tears but sadly it wasn’t.
Sometimes I just can’t understand the impatience of some people. Maybe they are just a bunch of 10 year old brats that don’t know better but either way when I was just 10 I knew how to show my gratitude to someone who gave me something for free. And afterall m.3.3.w provide us with quality subs for free.
But I hope you won’t make it come true and stop providing us softsubbes releases because I’d like to sub the dvd’s when they come out and OCR’ing is just a pain 😉

hmm as for speeds, I think somewhere of m33w did say that they shouldn’t have pushed up high hopes by releasing as true tears phase… Pointing out everything that was like faster go faster… and it’s more enjoyable to read all these whining posts, then watching a half of hour a anime xD(but the anime is better) And yes ofcxourse, it gives me something to do while waiting till they release. ANd thise release to the end, you must a real “no care about anime” peep been, having it watched totally… After all fansubbers do bring anime out to enjoy, and not to be fast(like stated so much).
And no, I’m not gonna check my post on grammar nor making pharagraphs 😀

Haha, nice job at getting back to those unappreciating bastards that can’t understand that it can’t always be delivered in time. They just have to be patient and understanding and show some gratitude to your excellent work. I dled this verision anyways and even though that annoying text was in the middle you could still enjoy this episode. Hah, great idea though =).

I thought i would be nice to point out that asking for release dates is a big no no…
For those it may concern:
Don’t use some elses hard work without permission. Especially the person who goes by the nick eXalpha.
The guys here and those at affiliate sites work their respective asses off to bring us some quality. Be respectful and show that through words of praise and perhaps some donations.

Oh holy crap! Why are there suddenly so many responses?!
All you complainers have to understand that we can’t go any faster than what we’re doing currently. Our translation checker was busy with exams last week and this week our TSer is busy with preparing for summer work.
For itakiss ep 10 and 11, we provided the pre-release script for impatient people. Though 11 came in the form of m.3.0.w with tons of red text. I can’t believe people are willing to watch that shit with red text covering -_-
The real thing should be out tomorrow if our TSer gets the stuff done.

the fansubbers dont want their stuff on other sites? how do you think most people learn of the subbers page ._.? and the reason they m33w doesnt want their stuff on veoh is for different reasons, yet their stuff is still getting uploaded to that site. One should never post up a script for something thats going to be subbed within a few hours, days maybe. Yes, its a two way street, but the way m33w attacked the person, therefor turning you guys into the most racist people i’ve seen an anime forum?
Yes, I appreciate all subbers, yes i am as patient as possible, there was a problem, the subbers mentioned it as soon as possible, the half ass apology+the attack on the viewers on cr and sites like cr? First off, let me state, that I love m33w/bakawolf and they do a great job with their subs. Even if someone else puts out a sub of one of their series faster, I’ll wait for m33w’s sub.
However, I find a lot of humor in m33w’s reaction to the irony of someone else taking their script and applying it to the raw. I mean, so what? To my knowledge, m33w isn’t asking TMS Entertainment for permission to translate ItaKiss and release a fansub.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but it isn’t m33w’s property, because I’m pretty sure they have no legal rights to that script. That’s pretty much how fansubbing works, by ignoring property rights and/or exploiting the legal aspects because a series isn’t licensed in their region.
Though, I can somewhat understand getting agitated over people uploading *any* of your subs to CR, since crunchyroll can potentially make a profit off of that (I think?).
Having said that, I don’t think any less of m33w for getting upset about it or for releasing a joke episode. They’re free to do whatever they want, and anyone familiar with m30w knew what to expect. I get a good laugh at all the complaints about it, too.
Anyways, you guys do great work and don’t let the impatient ones (or anyone for that matter) get under your skin.

Yes, that’s true. Translations are derivative works of the copyright holder. (Thus, you can’t translate Harry Potter into French and claim it as your own. It’d still belong to JK Rowling) The ownership belongs to the late Tada Kaoru and the producers of the anime. m33w claims no ownership to anything produced here.

well…although subbing is originally illegal, i think they have the right to punish people who stole their hard work.
im pretty understand the subbers here when someone steal their work since im a scanlator myself…
its really irritating to see our hard work stole by others and never be credited…
and to those who like to watch online…i dunno why do you guys like that crap quality…but i know that some of your country’s internet pretty slow right? so i think i couldnt blame you 100%
but for me…although i found the video i wanted on veoh…i rather wait for it to download than watching it streamed…hehe…
i really love to download videos until i have to buy a external hard drive to keep all the vids…

CrunchyRoll, a video streaming website that gets millions of dollars by streaming anime and fansubs done by other people. Don’t people find that this is even remotely unfair? The creator of CR gained loads of money from Share Capitol, but exactly how much of it has gone to investment in the site? Not much.
If he used it all, then he would no longer be needing anyone to donate, and everything would be made free. You can easily see that you are being scammed, and CR is developing to be like NarutoFan.

tun: You are probably correct, however there is a chance… wait… its been a while already since the troll release. Yeah… you are right. Personally I have done some fansubs in the past and know the process of timing a fansub script. Since you guys had established a schedule on releasing your projects, some people get impatient when you delay your release by a few days. I’m sure that most people(like the ones that found the troll release funny) are just as patient as me to wait for the actual release.
Well, keep up the good work you guys have established.

I’m a (part-time) scanlator, also a (fan)artist…I’ve seen other fanartists’ like myself get their work stolen. Of course, their reaction? MAD, irritated, annoyed.
We ALL know we didn’t create the series/anime/manga/or whatever ourselves…but it’s just UNFAIR when people don’t even effin’ give CREDIT to the one who really was the original artist/scanlator who worked hard on it.
We’re doing it for FREE and what do we get?
We get our stuff stolen and sometimes people that are soo impatient comes and bitch at us for being slow.
Also…I watched this whole epi…just coz I wanna watch it. I didn’t really care about the red writings.
What can I say? I’m an OTAKU. :’p

I find the people saying that, MORE immature. It’s just a measly lil’ joke. If ya don’t like it, ya don’t have to complain how stupid it is.

anyway… i was planning on watching it without any subs at all. so i don’t mind how bad this maybe. without subs i might understand 1/20 out of everything they say. that’s what happens when you start to watch to much anime. you kind of pick up some Japanese words in the process 🙂 am i right??
anyway…. until i learn japanese i have no choice but to thank all of the people that make an effort to get the fansubs as quickly as they can.

to bad you acted like a little kid and put the big hard coded red letters on there.. but other than that i found the subs quite good. tho it was a little annoying what i had to do to avoid the big red letters… i opened veoh and watched a raw with this avi playing on the back of the screen behing veoh player… so i could read and watch it just fine.. exept for the huge 200 pixel (i think) gap between this video and the raw one i opened on veoh.
anyway.. even tho people can act like kids sometimes i still thank you because without the subs i wouldnt have been able to watch it and enjoy it. even tho it wasn’t as enjoyable as it could have been without the big red letters.
