Let me get a few things straight. We are [BakaWolf-m.​3.​3.​w]. [m.3.0.w] is a troll sub made by tun. I really don’t know why people don’t notice the different tags.

There are those who don’t really understand the reason behind all the red text in the troll itakiss release. Okay, here’s the story. Last week, our translation checker, asagao, was having exams. He was not available for work. Thus, I (xess) released an unchecked script for the benefit of the impatient ones. However, some people thought that it might be clever to release my bad script on places like Crunchyroll. Personally, I don’t mind very much. I even make sure fonts are large enough to be viewable at low res. But some others in the group didn’t take too kindly to it.

So, tun decided to hardcode the pre-release script for ep 11 as a joke. Since we assume people who watch Crunchyroll don’t really care about the video quality and such, we assume they won’t mind the red text. The red text isn’t stuff we made up either. They’re real comments which we actually received here on this website.

Though it was a little mean, it did bring out the true colours of some of the leechers. One had the nerve to blame us for wasting 170MB of his bandwidth for downloading a troll sub. Wow, seriously? If you wanted a preview, you could have just gone to IRC, download the first 20MB from a bot and watch. I’m sorry if you were not aware that you could do that. And why blame us? Why not blame your ISP for being crap by setting a bandwidth cap? Or why not blame your government for not having a better broadband policy? Like one of the other users said, it was your choice to download all 170MB of a troll sub.

Either way, S-A 10 and Itakiss 11 should be out soon enough. Our TSer (ThaEagle) was busy this week. But everything is almost ready. Sorry for not being as fast as we normally were.

The insert song is called Jikan yo Tomare by AZU feat. Seamo. The song is nice, but I think Seamo’s part doesn’t really fit a shoujo romance anime. This song will also replace Kataomoi Fighter as the new ED in a few episodes from now.

So yeah, time for some updates.

Special A 09 should be done with translation soon, so I don’t anticipate any big delays with that one. When I watched the raw, I did notice a lot of signs, so typesetting might take a while. I’ll let you guys know when we get closer to it. The whole premise of the episode is rather retarded, but we get a nice little scene at the end of the episode.

Itazura 10, which airs at 1:30 AM Thursday in Japan (I’ll let you convert that time to your own local time), will be delayed a few days. Our translation checker for Itazura na Kiss has finals on this upcoming Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday. He said he will try to do it Sunday morning, but if he can’t, it might unfortunately be delayed for up to a week. We have a back up plan but we will wait till the episode airs to decide what to do.

Also, I’ve been noticing that people are using the chat box on the right side of the page to ask about release dates. I have no problem with an occasional question since it shows that people care about the show. However, I feel that we give plenty of detailed updates on the progress of both shows every week (which is more than you can ask from a lot of other groups). So please refrain from using the chat box for this purpose.

And again, I apologize for the mix-up with the Special A 08 scripts that necessitated a v2. That’s what happens sometimes when you have staff members all around the world in different time zones; you’re not always gonna be awake to let other people know if changes have been made. It doesn’t happen often but I guess not this time.

Some special failure from us. The previous version got encoded with the wrong script of all things. Following are the fixes:

• Time shift as it was timed to a different raw
• A few minor typos
• A sign disappearing a frame too early
• Missing credits

Hmm, doesn’t seem like anything major. If you’re satisfied with the first version, don’t bother with this one. If there are any other mistakes, then whatever. We’re not gonna re-encode again.
