As you may have heard, Veoh has blocked over 160 countries in the world. Among the 160+ countries blocked, my country, Malaysia, is one of them. It was done very suddenly and without proper explanation.
So, if you have uploaded any m33w subs on Veoh, I would like to kindly request for you to remove those videos. They have blocked me, so I don’t want our stuff contributing to their pockets. I recommend using alternatives like Dailymotion, Metacafe, etc.

You make it sound as if Veoh wants to have your subs up there in the first place, they don’t. They would much more prefer to have 40 thirty second videos then one 24 minute video.

You make it sound as if there are not a lot of fansubs on Veoh. Anime is certainly very popular on Veoh.
Two of veoh’s strengths were the fact that they allowed videos of any length and also the fact you can torrent the original file onto your comp. The number of views will always be more important that the file length. It’s entirely their fault for allowing long videos.
If they really don’t want our subs on there, then that’s even better. Whoever has uploaded our subs onto veoh, do both m33w and veoh a favour by removing them because, allegedly, neither of us want them up there.

Well I think it wil return to normal in week or two ;s that kind of situation was witch veohTV you`ve had to download it even for 20-24 minutes schow(longer than 5 minutes), lot of ppls were trully pissed off (yea me 2 xD) soo in the end everytching returned to normal 😛

Unfortunately Veoh will be ending service in your country due to a low concentration of users. Veoh is maintaining markets when we have the highest concentration of viewers.

Amazingly, we still have service here in Hong Kong. However, i feel your pain. I go into china to visit my relatives a lot, and there are just so many site that i often visit that are blocked, but this time by the government 🙁

Hmm, metacafe isn’t bad. Dailymotion offers HD content. It’s quite sharp. Don’t know how much anime uploads there are though. There’s a new site called stage-next.com or something, a stage-6 replacement, but it’s too slow for me. Don’t know why anyone would want to stream something so big, might as well download it normally onto ur HDD

Honestly not really any good places to upload or watch anime now. Youtube is a total shithole non stop banning and copyright fights. Since Google took it over its been pure hell. Veoh used to be great till the major lockout they at least did not do copyright hassling. I stopped watching streaming about 7 months ago for most part. Every once in a while when im at friends house I watch some youtube stuff or veoh but thats rare.

I guess not too many people look at the staff page. We have flags of where everyone is from to show how international we are.
Anyways, like I mentioned, there’s stage-next.com. They’re trying to be a stage 6 clone where u can upload full-sized videos. But their streaming isn’t fast enough currently.

Vreel.net is the name of the site, something to look forward to, for those who have been blocked from Veoh 🙁

It’s pretty useless if they block 80% of the countries, don’t you think so..? Well, I use veoh to watch RAWs, yes and it’s a good thing that our country wasn’t blocked *phew* but it’s sad that m33w fansubs’ fansubs(lol xD) won’t be viewable there anymore unless others does not follow what you said..
