Too bad, I was really starting to like this anime, but this has kinda killed it for me. Oh well, Im guessing Ill give them a chance to put some drama into it, even though Im afraid its gonna be too easy to predict it all now 🙁

That was the most complete conclusion I think I’ve ever seen an an anime… And then they had to go and make it not the end. Hopefully the “next episode” is just a bonus kind of thing that does not ruin our nice ending.

Well, the manga had like 20+ volumes. This episode was only volume 10. So apparently, there’s still an incredible amount of story left.

I just realized that this is supposed to be a 26 episode series. For some reason I was thinking it was significantly less. It’ll be interesting to see where they go with it.

oh God, i would’ve loved it if Kotoko bitchslapped Naoki right before she put the ring on him… the bastard needs to pay back the many tears he made Kotoko shed…
but i’m very happy Kotoko pwned him in the end… i love this episode… i hope it doesn’t go downhill from here… and i hope Kotoko gets her revenge…

I do have to admit that it was pretty fast to finish that up in just 1 ep, especially since it’s just over the halfway point for the series. Who knows maybe the 2nd half will be the story line for Kinnosuke & Chris or Sudou & Matsumoto? lol
On the good side, eventhough the creator of Itazura na Kissed passed away before finishing the manga, I’ve read that they will have her original plan for the ending covered in the anime.

I also think it was rather fast to confess, tell the parents and anyone else, and finally marry in one episode. I couldn’t quite believe it, just waited for her to wake up. But, well, everythings fine now, although I fear there’s gonna be problems in the future…

hehe I can’t wait to see what happens now, I mean, she did get what she was after, and the only thing I can imagine now is that all hell breaks loose, or else, the only other (boring) theory I can think of is that they will show how the lucky couple live their happy lives for the next 10-12 episodes 🙁

Thanks so much for the ep! I loved it, even if it was super rushed. Though Naoki’s 180 degree personality turn has me kind of worried… can someone really change that quickly? I’m sure the next 13 episodes will be filled with drama and struggles (they are still in college after all… and people change over time)
For those who are saying this is going downhill… dude, HONEYMOON next episode. You just know them trying to have sex is going to be complicated/hilarious! XD

I really don’t understand all this whining. ItazuraNa Kiss was starting to feel a little boring to me precisely because it was drawing out the romance for too long. Like Love Hina. Like Fushigi Yuugi. Like Sailor Moon. You *KNOW* how the story’s going to end and that the main characters are going to wind up together happily ever after, so why the hell take 26 or even 52 episodes to tell it?
The writers of ItazuraNa Kiss’s anime shouldn’t be belittled. They are the 180° opposite of Studio Pierrot’s writers for the Naruto anime adaptation. Instead of dragging crap out, they did a 1-2 knock out and now we get to move on. I applaud them for this. THANK YOU. Very much appreciated. Sick and tired of the Love Hina/Fushigi Yuugi approach to romance animes. (In fact there were so many parallels between Miaka & Tamahome and Kotoko & Naoki that it was starting to feel like FushigiNa Kiss! :p)
As for people who say that it can only get boring from here, have you ever seen Nodame Cantabile or other series where the lovebirds hook up (relatively) early on? We should be fine. Have some faith! :p

When I read all the negativity about this episode I got sort of upset and forgot what I had originally wanted to say. Here it is. (Sorry for the post above, looks like the HTML tag messed up the post.)
1. I feel really bad for Kinnosuke. One thing I’ve hated about the series so far (despite enjoying it overall :p) is how much of a bitch Kotoko has been for leading Kinnosuke on *yet* how nicely and innocently she’s been portrayed to the audience. All of Kinnosuke’s sufferings (until last episode) had been laughed off as comic relief; I thought this was really odd and it made me feel uncomfortable. Episode 14 (and the tail end of 13) finally put Kinnosuke out of his misery, but I still feel for him. It’s a crying shame that ItazuraNa Kiss reminds us guys that women really do prefer the cold assholes like Naoki over the nice guys who can cook, clean, and would die for you if necessary.
2. Mrs. Irie reached a new level of awesomeness with this episode, hahaha, oh wow.
3. I’m wondering if the show might not consider doing a time skip in 2-3 episodes so we can see an older Yuuki and possibly Naoki as a medical intern or even a resident (or however they do things in Japan).

I don’t know why everyone is saying this is going to go downhill from here. They are actually going to tie up the loose ends of the manga, that went 23 volumes and was never finished due to the Manga-ka’s death. I actually want to see the rest of the 26 episodes.
Sure Episode 14 was kind of the fast moving episode, but the ones coming after are probably not going to be boring at all.
I wonder if anyone’s actually read the manga here or if they are just complaining based on what they percieve is going to happen.
Bleh.
Onto a higher note, poor Kino-chan got his heart broken. I felt bad for him…Almost. Until I was reminded of the last episode where he forced himself on Kotoko ._. ; That was slightly shocking. I can understand he loves her but, you can;t force someone to love you back .
I was glad though that Naoki finally expressed his love, though the wedding was rushed I saw that he finally was able to admit and realize his own feelings just as Kotoko was ready to finally move on to some degree and let him and Chris-san be happy.

Wow…I was choking on laughter and happiness at the same time. The show thus far has stumped my normal anime senses that tell me what is bound to happen next and stab me in the back with the haha-you-didn’t-know-knife.
