For the ones that have watched the m.3.3.w tv subbed version, you might consider watching this one, it has much better quality then the TVrips + it’s uncensored. It has lots of pantsu, so if that’s your thing 😉 .

For the people wondering about the quality. The DVDs are much and much better in quality then the TVrips, the HDTV ones were upscales to begin with (so no REAL HDTV) + the DVDs are clean of errors.

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen this series so I might’ve forgotten some details, but I don’t really remember any scenes that were censored. (Was there a sauna or hot spring ep?) If it was just the panty shots, I doubt that they censor those, so can anyone refresh my memory on censored scenes? Wasn’t Ninomiya broadcast in HD & encoded as mkv w/ the previous m33w release?

You prolly have realized that BiGGuY is our main-encoder and BiGGuY-Fansubbing is his independent site where he re-releases m33w-projects with DVD/BD-Source or does his own rips?
The HDTV one was upscaled (the raw from the TV-Station), so it wasn’t really HD. The DVD-rip is way better in quality and no censoring (actually a lot of differences… clothing/pantsu/even changed scenes!
BiGGuY-Fansubbing currently has 2 Staffers – BiGGuY… and me, lol.
I’m working on AIR TV Subtitles/Typesetting ect… he does the technical stuff.
Aren’t we pretty awesome?!

IMO, I don’t think that it was done in a hateful or racist way. They probably changed the characters (not just complexion) all together so that they won’t have to worry about the hassle of blacks overreacting to how they were drawn. They don’t have issues if they’re drawn as d lead like Afro Samurai, but if they’re only background characters, then suddenly they’re being discriminated against?! Isn’t calling whites “Crackers” & insulting Asians by making martial arts gestures & sounds stronger forms of racism & aren’t they meant 2 demean other people?! Remember the big stink that they had about a chimp in a cellphone ad that had spoofed Obama? & that was only supposed 2 be specifically aired in Japan. There’s even a place in Japan called Obama so there’s probably more Japanese that support him more than blacks.
Besides, changing skin color was already done in d US w/ One Piece. Do you honestly think that they wouldn’t riot, protest or boycott Funimation if they showed the original on Cartoon Network or Fox?
If I hadn’t dled the h264 v of Ninomiya, I would definitely dl this version, but 4 me, it’s not 2 significant of a difference that I’d re-dl it over again. Covered panties, areolas w/out nipples, & characters changes just doesn’t do it 4 me. Now if it were Sora no Iro, then that’s a different story;) lol Though, it would b a must 4 those who haven’t dled d complete series yet. I thank BiGGuy 4 his commitment & work.
