There’s a problem with the mkv release (don’t know the AVI), there are parts which seem to be corrupt, and MPC crashes in the ending.

erKURITA: You probably have a corrupt file. Try checking the CRC on it, and if it doesn’t match the one in the file name, you’ll have to redownload it.

The CRC matches the one in the filename. Besides I downloaded it via torrent, so the first thing I did was to re-check the whole thing. It’s still corrupt. Screenshot to follow:
