Sorry we are so slowking.bmp with this show. There’s nothing we can do while we wait to acquire the raw. FYI, we already have the script for SA 22 ready but the raw probably won’t show up for a few days. We might release the script after some more checking. We would like to avoid that whole Crunchyroll problem that we had earlier (SA is not allowed on CR, but it is on Veoh), so we’ll try to think of something.
xess edit: I think people are misinterpreting what we mean by not having the raw. The raw we use is from the TVO channel. It’s twice as sharp as the one currently available, which is why we take so long to release SA. The TVO channel only airs on Friday, and we won’t have a functioning raw until like Saturday. However, the translations and everything except the typesetting gets done beforehand. Like tun said, the SA 22 script is practically ready.

Thanks for subbing, but I just have a quick question. Why did you guys get a better raw for SA, but not for Itakiss? IMHO, getting a bigger file size for something like SA vs Itakiss just isn’t right or reasonable;( Admittedly, at least now it doesn’t take 5-8 eps in between before memorable eps for SA, but still…

Why did we get a better raw for SA? Obviously because we managed to get a better one, right? Could there be any other reason as to why? Would you prefer the crappy raw for some special reason? Why not for ItaKiss? That’s an invalid question, because we did get a better raw for ItaKiss.
You seem to think these better raws magically appear from nowhere and we have a super secret hidden option to suddenly magically create better raws from nowhere at any time as we please. And also that we arbitrarily increase the filesize for absolutely no reason. I can assure you that the sizes are not randomly chosen from a box, they are tested beforehand. And I can assure you that finding 2.5GB transport stream raws aren’t easy.

xess, I apologize if youâre THAT deeply offended. After strolling through a few months of comments, I finally did find out that Itakiss raws were upgraded beginning from ep 4 (4/25). Itâs been so long that Iâve already forgotten. That post was only meant as a simple question, not as an insult as youâve apparently taken personally.
I donât prefer crappy raws, but imo it doesnât really matter to me if itâs SA. Just like there are people who unbelievably like SA, there are also people who unbelievably dislike it; each of us has their own preferences. For anyone whose had an annoying song stuck in their head that wonât go away, theyâd understand the feeling of âyou donât really like it, but you have to finish it regardlessâ.
I do understand that for the most (note that itâs italicized) part, bigger file size means better quality, which is the basic rule of compression. Itakissâ file size didnât significantly change compared to SA (& this was just a recent change), so thatâs were Iâm coming from with regards to the raws. I didnât realize, however, that TS raws were that huge!
You guys are great, but if I truly believed that you guys can use magic, I wouldâve wished for unicorns, world peace or better yet something more mythicalâŚlike $1/gal gas. lol

The change is recent because we managed to find someone only about a month back who had access to the 2.5GB transport streams. It was quite surprising actually that he had access to all the raws for all the shows that we were doing. We never had them before.
Starting from 18, itakiss was increased from 140 to 170mb. SA from 170 to 233. Nogizaka from 170 to 233. Ran, no change at 300. Obviously, we want to provide the best picture quality possible for h264 releases, filesize is a secondary factor. For those who don’t care about picture quality, there’s always Crunchy Roll, Veoh and whatnot.
Video quality varies heavily from anime to anime and station to station. Thus, the filesize changes are determined on a case-by-case basis. The new Itakiss raw wasn’t significantly better, most people probably didn’t notice it. The SA one was quite a remarkable upgrade. Nogizaka too. However, the capper for the stream did not record it for ep 8, so we reverted to the old raw we used before. Ran already had pretty impressive quality in the first place.

nope its going fine for the xvid 72 seeds 40 peers, am downloading at usual torrent speed.. check how many tracker are in your list, i got 8 tracker for the ep21, see the link above….
