After almost 6 long months, we are finally done with Special A. It’s definitely been an enjoyable experience to watch this show get better every episode. In the coming days, we will be announcing our Fall 2008 projects, so look forward to that as well. Nogizaka 11 looks to be the closest episode to release. Hopefully that will be out tomorrow. Itazura 24 soon after. I’ll also update this post with the batch torrent once I have it ready.

Thanks for finishing, though I’m not a fan of the series, I do appreciate your work.
There really isn’t that much left of a selection of drama for the fall schedule so we’ll have to stomach ecchi again unfortunately;( It’s either taken or taken. I wonder if we can have an online petition to have Bitter Virgin into an anime? Now that’s a straightforward drama series that would be truly worthy of m33w’s skills!
P.S.: Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease don’t let tun pick another series like this;)

We’ve never used boxtorrents before, so we’re not sure where we went wrong. We’ll look into the problem.
Predictably corny is what makes S-A fun. Imagine if Hikari and Kei had plummeted to their deaths? Then scenes of Akira crying at Hikari’s grave. Tadashi grabbing Akira and dragging her away. Jun goes psycho and stays as inner Jun forever. Megumi loses her voice forever. And Ryuu leaves school to open an animal sanctuary in Africa. Better ending?

The only thing that annoys me is that the creators once again mixed up London Bridge with Tower Bridge. Whilst Parliament House doesn’t even exist (its the Houses of Parliament, the one with Big Ben). At least not as bad as the speed-subbers who said Buckingham Palace.

i guess the only things i hate about this final episode are (1) Akira seems to have forgotten that Tadashi is her boyfriend, (2) Yahiro’s and Sakura’s appearance were too random, and (3) the ending had “please refer to the manga for more information” written all over it…
but if possible, it would be nice to get a notice of when Special A’s OST comes out… that BGM that they played when Megumi stood up to the guards — it kicks so much ass!

As for BoxTorrents they allow a limited number of siumltaneous DL for non-members, and there is also a grace time that allows only Box members with ratio >1 to download for some time depending on the torrent size: from a few hours to about a day. Six hours remaining for the MKV one when I write this

Yes thanks for your hard work subbing this series. I like most am very disappointed with the ending. Granted in almost every anime I have ever watched it is usually like this. The Japanese make great stories but the endings sigh. I look forward to this anime season hopefully you find something amazing.

Great anime and a worthy ending of this great show. Now, may I ask what you have planned for winter or fall of 2008? I don’t know if you have mentioned it or not, but since nogizaka has like one episode left, ran has a couple more left, and itakiss has 2 left (with one of them being released soon) I was wondering what you might have planned.

You might want to stop direct linking to the torrent
file on box. Because the torrent files are unique for
every user. I suggest you post links to the
description instead.
And if you check the stats on the m33w-fansubs account
they are closing in on a ratio of 0.5. Which is odd
since the account was probably meant for uploading.
I am assuming people have been leeching on your account thanks to the directlinks.
Boxtorrents is an open tracker. But only registered
users may use the search function I hear.
Which means people with no accounts cannot access
links to the description. Direct links to the torrent
file used to work, but now after the system change I
do not know.
Also, 1 account is only allowed a certain amount of
connections. So people will be unable to connect to
peers if too many people share the same .torrent file.
