Well folks, here is the secret show that we were talking about for the past couple of days. As you can tell from the release tag, this is a joint project with Eclipse Productions. We are very pleased to be working with them on this show. Eclipse is doing most of the work while we’re providing the transport stream and doing QC.
The show itself is incredible and I highly recommend it. You guys will fall in love with Index almost immediately.
Also, I’m hoping that Rosario + Vampire Capu 2 will be out later tonight. Everything is ready for encoding.

Well, show itself is not as good as you may think. Just another comedy trying to escape its fate. Honestly, AoShen is more than enough for this. But you, guys, is to decide what to sub and I’m to decide what to watch and what to just download.

Eclipse and m.3.3.w two of the biggest names in fansubbing doing a joint project, had checked this out earlier today as another group had released it, had downloaded but not watched it yet, think im going to go with this version, that said aoshen, did a decent job with birdy if not for them i wouldnt of been able to watch it-sadly it didnt live up to my expectations, but thats hardly aoshen’s fault.
Also reminds me of Rental Magica, and maybe even fate/Stay, but not watched it yet. Seems to have similar elements though, lets hope its in the same league as any of those three shows.

Sorry folks, there ARE NO BETTER RAWS for Clannad. This is the same (censored) which we suffered through in the past.

If this is the very best you can work with, the encode is the best I could produce. If you manage to remove the horrible dotcrawl (around the hair against the sky) and the rainbowing (e.g. under Akio’s Shirt – the lines are rainbowy instead of grey) without hurting the picture, by all means contact me.
The 16:9 will only be more of the same crap. Sorry.

Please list where you got the file from. The CRCs from the torrents are clean (I rechecked twice), but maybe a bot has a corrupt pack?

After watching both I definitely like how you translated this ep better (or eclipse did?). There were little things that bothered me in the aoshen one that you did wonderful at so I’m sticking with this groups. <3 like always. XD and nice karaoke too~

Oh I watched this with the other group minutes before you released it. I deleted it and dled yours. This anime sounds so interesting, so glad you all are working on it and allowing us to watch it ^^ But sesh the size of the mkv was pretty large.

After watching the 1st ep of this I realized two things; One, I can’t read the manga anymore because this is better and two, this show is going to be bigger than Shakugan No Shana. All-in-all a great choice for you guys and Eclipse!

Just downloaded this and love it.. BUT… I also watched a version by the sub group [AoShen] and noticed that thier release was extremely colorful and crisp compared to the video on this sub release which seems dull. Is there a reason????

dunno if this is true but…I’ve noticed that lower quality video has brighter colors than higher quality video. my main example is SS’s job of Mai-HiME as opposed to the DVD version of HiME, where SS’s version is very bright while the DVD is more subdued. So I guess that could be the reason.
