Not sure what else to say, except, it’s finally here. It’s starting to become quite a bad habit.
Episode 05 kinda starts a new arc. Something about the moon and such.
As for the other shows, Chaos;Head should be here shortly. It has actually been at the encode stage for the past 3 days. Talk about maximum fail. As for One Outs, I’m strongly considering dropping that as we clearly don’t have the manpower capable of handling so many projects.

Seems like you guys are swamped with Real Life issues and trying to take on too much at one time. Chihiro is doing a decent job with R+V you guys should just drop it if you can’t keep up and it seems like you don’t enjoy subbing it either so what’s the point.

I’d say go ahead and drop One Outs and R+V, since they have decent subs. Not sure what the situation is with Earl and Fairy outside of here, but I can speak from experience that nobody else is doing at least a half-decent job on Chaos;Head. I’ve convinced my friends to wait for m33w no matter what. So if dropping some of the other shows that other decent subbers are doing will make room for getting Chaos;Head and some of these shows out faster, then you should go ahead and do it.
Of course, if you really want to keep them then do so. People need to remember that subbers are doing this for free and are people as well.
But, being as Chaos;Head is my favorite show this season, I’d say I agree with anything that speeds it up a bit. But as Episode 6 comes out today, if 5 isn’t done by tonight I’m just going to give up waiting and watch another subber.

@MRSelfDestruct: So go agead and watch another group. Why do people feel the need to say that? You think anyone cares about the fact that you are going to watch another group?
@m.3.3.w.: you guys have the right to drop whatever you want, and no one can say shit about it. I, for one, recomment dropping One Outs. That’s just my opinion. No one is doing a job as good as you guys for Rosario + Vampire or Chaos;Head, and nobody is doing Earl & Fairy period. Please don’t be discouraged, and take as much time as needed.

You obviously cared enough to get angry and feel the need to respond. Grow up, I can say whatever I want to say. I’ve had nothing but praise for m33w and if you bothered to read the rest of my post, I’ve been making people wait to watch them. I feel the need to say it because I’ve been waiting and I want to stay on top of the show. Too bad for you that people have the right to express their opinions. I would REALLY like to not have to watch another group. But I’m not going to fall behind either.
1) Don’t act like you know me or what I am doing. That would make the 2nd time in a row somebody did that on this site and would really turn me off from this whole community.
2) As for what you actually said to m33w, if you take what you said and compared it to what I said minus watching another subber for 5, they sound rather similar. So please, do me a favor and get over yourself.

Although the E & F subs are out later than usual, I am very happy for the release. I know you guys have real life things to take care of and I understand that. I’ll always appreciate what you do as long as the subs come out eventually.
Dropping One Outs might be a good idea in my opinion. It’s a side project and since another group picked it up, it’s better to concentrate on the other shows. Personally, I’ll be happier with earlier E & F releases since you guys are the only fan sub group I know who are working on this awesome anime. Thank you again!

Yeah I have to say, even though I was trying to commit myself to waiting on m33w for Chaos that I downloaded the Dark-Rebirth one (I know Aoshen is.. ugh) and am hoping it’s somewhere in between. I have some other things to watch so I’m hoping to delay long enough to watch the m33w one instead.

Regarding Chihiro doing a “decent” job with Rosario + Vampire, I begged to differ. However, I don’t wish to probe further into fansub issues sicne they are all doing it for us, fans, free of charge so we shouldn’t complain too much. I wish to bring out that in the past, there were very few fansubs and hence not all shows will get covered. So, fans now have even the luxury of choosing among different groups. We should thnak god for that. Nevertheless, I feel that we shouldn’t take this for granted. Let’s just appreciate what the fansubs have done for us now. As for the dropping of projects, I feel that we, fans, have in no right to demand whether they be dropped or picked up, all these lie in the decision of the fansubs. Regarding Earl and Fairy, I like the plot up till now, so keep it up m33w. Don’t worry about being slow.

All I can say is please don’t drop Chaos;Head, or Rosario+Vampire, or any of your shows. I know that there are a lot of impatient people who can’t wait a few days for a release but contrast to that, there are also a lot of people who will wait patiently in order to appreciate the good work and quality that you guys put into your subs.

To hell with people saying that you’re slow and they don’t want to fall behind. If they can’t wait, that’s their problem. Take your time, m33w. Fast subbing only leads to subs like Chihiro.

I just have to say that I’m somewhat conflicted w/ Earl & Fairy as a series. I can’t say that it’s too boring cuz it’s not. I can’t say that it’s entertaining either cuz there’s just something missing. It doesn’t have the “it” factor. It’s certainly drawn better than Nodame, but unlike it, E&F doesn’t have the charismatic interaction between characters that draws you in. I know they’re different genres, but still… I kinda get annoyed somewhat when Ed flirts w/ Lydia (& no, it’s not jealousy). It just feels “fake” & kinda creepy. If somebody told me about a series that has medieval business & religious political elements, I would definitely fail it without hesitation, but it worked w/ Spice & Wolf BECAUSE it had the “it” factor.

Quick question: is there a specific reason you’re translating Hy-Brasil (UĆ Breasail) to “Ibrazel”? (Like the reason Arystar Krory the Third in D.Gray-man is spelled that way as a pun on the name Aleister Crowley rather than being Crowley himself)

Thanks m33w for continuing to sub Earl + Fairy. At first, I thought the show was so unbelievably corny. But I kept watching it.
