Thanks m33w for continuing to sub Earl + Fairy. At first, I thought the show was so unbelievably corny. But I kept watching it. Now it’s totally grown on me and I can’t wait for each new episode to be released. Thanks very much for the awesome job you guys do with this! It’s very much appreciated! Domo! ^_^v

Quick question: is there a specific reason you’re translating Hy-Brasil (Uí Breasail) to “Ibrazel”? (Like the reason Arystar Krory the Third in D.Gray-man is spelled that way as a pun on the name Aleister Crowley rather than being Crowley himself)

I just have to say that I’m somewhat conflicted w/ Earl & Fairy as a series. I can’t say that it’s too boring cuz it’s not. I can’t say that it’s entertaining either cuz there’s just something missing. It doesn’t have the “it” factor. It’s certainly drawn better than Nodame, but unlike it, E&F doesn’t have the charismatic interaction between characters that draws you in. I know they’re different genres, but still… I kinda get annoyed somewhat when Ed flirts w/ Lydia (& no, it’s not jealousy). It just feels “fake” & kinda creepy. If somebody told me about a series that has medieval business & religious political elements, I would definitely fail it without hesitation, but it worked w/ Spice & Wolf BECAUSE it had the “it” factor.
