After a long wait, the final episode is finally here! The batches will come later.

Enjoy and look forward to our new project(s) for the winter season!

edit: This is the link to episode 01 h264. Unfortunately, I designed the database in such a way to only hold 100 characters for the torrent link, and the damned name exceeds 100 characters. However, the torrent does work.

    Now that was a glorious ending – the prior one left me with a few broken peripherals. I still hate it when anime couples deny themselves but I guess that’s what they call ~drama~. I call it BS.

    Love the releases. I don’t know if you guys said it before, but is there the slightest possibility you guys can sub Maria Holic?

    /sigh no matter which way you look at
    it, its still a sad ending. Guess this
    is what you would call bitter sweat?
    Everyone has their own choices of
    which girl they would support, but you
    still cant help feel bad for the other.
    Guess this must be the omnipotent force
    that has kept me from finishing School
    Days after being stuck on ep2 for a yr
    now orz. But still better than the shows
    that leaves you hanging, at least with
    this we get closure.

    Thanks for the release!

    I still find this version of the storytelling inferior to the one with Hazuki. This one was downright dumb.

    how does this ending leave you with sadness? in the series he takes 1 girl and cooses her in the ova he picks the other, both endings go well and he gets the girl he whoses whos left to be sad in this one?

    @stefan

    u mean mitsuki? u know what would have made this golden? If a car hit the both of them at the very end… That would have really sealed the deal.

    damn it xess, i was hoping for the same thing at the end, like mitsuki driving a car and crash with them and kill them all 3, that would have made this best ep ever

    @agg-san

    I was thinking the same thing. I was wondering if I’d be the only person to start laughing if Haruka got hit by a car again. Glad she didn’t. Great OVA. Thanks, m.3.3.w for subbing it!

    And Akane end would’ve been better.

    Thanks for subbing the final OVA, m.3.3.w! I still remember watching season 1 on my local TV… It’s finally over!!

    @ Mii
    Nerine already got her own video game. Bet yeah, I’d love to see more Nerine in anime.

    This ending was pretty good, but why the hell did it take so long for these releases? I mean, its a romance not an action mecha, the animation is decidedly less difficult, so why?

    I still liked the original TV ending, but that’s why this is an alternate ending from Haruka’s POV (& they just wanted to milk it as dry as possible). Who knows maybe they’ll say that this was an ending where Haruka was still in a coma & make another OVA this time with Akane as the love interest, then the hot Dr. Kouzuki, then Ayu, then Mayu, etc.? lol The TV series was definitely more powerful than the OVA eventhough in both, Takayuki just kinda fell in love w/ Haruka out of pity. Well pity sex is still better than no sex @ all. lol

    It’s still better than Earl & Fairy. I was kinda rooting for Banshee to live & the spectral hounds to eat the annoying Edgar;) The recent closest anime series that I can compare E&F to is Spice & Wolf. Now that series deserves a continuation! & I read somewhere that it will. Thank goodness.

    can’t get myself to like this alternate Kiminozo-version.
    Yes it was well-drawn, Haruka was sweet and Yo-the-bro went out of his way to make up for that lost time of hers.

    Maybe too much so. That was a total different character from what he used to be in the original series. Also I found the plot to be reduced to a mere accumulation of sweet&soft moments. Don’t get me wrong though: a fair end for Haruka (although I actually always liked Mitsuki very much so). Well the original plot had multiple settings of action and many more real characters involved. It was thereby much closer to the real world and managed to make the story really interesting. Not so with this OVA. Everything gets boiled down into one very limited dimension, really. Gone are the multiple view-points, additional slice-of-life elements and friends&colleque-charakters that together enchriched the whole atmosphere in the original series and gave it such an enormous positive appeal.
    The OVA on the contrary had a very constant pace to tell things and Yoshiuki really hardly ever appeared.
    So there you go then: a strangely disappointing addition to what still is one of the best dramas I’ve ever come to watch. Really, telling a bitter-sweet happy ending through a pair of tamed-down, purple glasses and killing of the 3rd main character by a 2-liner right at the beginning is not going to make me feel right. Not at all. Not even if they include such a great deal of morale-lecture in the last episode as it happened here.

    Everyone who didn’t yet watch the original series to the end: Do so – it is much more of a drama than this.
