Hey guys, long time no see. Today is my 21st birthday ๐
I’ve been busy this past month with school and internship stuff. I needed a break from fansubbing for a while and this was the perfect time. Anyway, time to give you guys a long overdue update.
Rosario – This delay is basically all my fault. I haven’t edited any of the episodes so the project has basically been stalling on me. Sorry about that! Now there is the issue of whether we will do the DVD’s or not. If you read Sankaku Complex, they shed some light on the Rosario DVD’s.

If you can believe it, the DVD’s are actually less revealing than the Tokyo-MX airing that we’ve been using. So I don’t think we’re gonna bother with DVD’s. Let me hear your thoughts. Anyway, I hope to get back to working on Rosario in the coming days.
Seto – I just finished editing Seto 20 tonight and I’ll get to finishing up the simple typesetting either today or tomorrow. I finally got xess to agree to TL the episodes, so hopefully this will result in faster releases. ๐
Munto 03 – Needs to be edited, which will hopefully get done today or tomorrow. The transport stream is still downloading so the workraw won’t be ready till later today.
Negima 02 OVA – Mango-chan refuses to translate it right now. So if you have IRC, please get on Rizon and bitch at him to do it.

Regarding Rosario DVDs, if the ugly bat censorship is changed to longer skirt or more natural type. Then I will still kind of vote for the DVD version. After all, covered by skirt are still more sexy than covered by a big ugly bat in front of the screen.

i read that post and from what i read their coming out with 3 dvd version’s 2 of them is censored but the “Deluxe” version seem like it going to be full tv uncensored that seem to be the one to go for

Hey happy birthday tun and I hope you guys decide to do the dvd cersion. I don’t care if they end up being somewhat more censored comparing to the TV MX version, but I don’t want to watch those awful bats in the screen.

happy birthday tun and frankly spoken – if Rosario to Vamp is not completely uncensored, then there is absolutely no point in watching it, so I personally would think m33w to be better of with using their time on some other project if Rosario to Vampire 2 is not available in an uncensored version

According to some comments on sankaku they are releasing 3 versions, one of which will be totally uncensored. Regardless of which version of the DVDs I still think the dvd rips would be better than having to watch the bat ๐

Yeah, they confirmed it. There’s gonna be 3 releases of the DVD verisons. I would look to Sankaku for future updates on it. I would think GONZO would fix that problem since they already digging into their pockets for money.

Where’s the confirmation about 3 DVD version? the only time I see it mentioned is by someone comment on sankaku that I think probably he just say it like some sort of joke (although it’s possible that it would turn out like that).
As for whether to do the DVD version or not, as long as the DVD version not cutting any scene and not using bats/bears for censoring, then go for the DVD version. Like other have said, the bats/bears are really annoying distraction.. but if they forced to cut some scene for censoring, then I prefer the TV MX version.

thanks for the update and happy belated bday. for rosario, i think that the dvd vers should be sufficient. the only thing i wonder, is that in the link in the post 2 above mine, does the TV MX version have that alternate scene sequence. if not just stick with the dvd vers, who cares if a little pantsu is cut out, you still see at least half.

In regards to the Rosario 2 DVD, I just watched episode 5 from what is suppose to be a DVD rip and no bats bears or any other kind of censoring. The RAWS are not very good quality despite being 300+mb and I’ve never heard of the group and I could only find two episodes so if you can source a decent DVD RAW then I think you go for it.

I think it’d be wise to go with the DVD versions of Rosario. The elimination of the bats should be sufficient enough to change your decision to go with MX versions. If its way to much hassle to sub the DVD versions than we’d understand if you stayed with the MX version.

Happy 21st birthday!!! Hope u enjoyed it well. In regards to R+Vcapu ..i suggest going with the dvd version.
