    thanks for the episode!

i actually kinda agree with silv. the animation quality didn’t exactly go down; but i’m not liking the new animation too much. i personally thought the animation in the 2nd ova was the best. other characters i don’t mind much but yumemi just looks too different.

Keeps getting better and better. That said i just marked it off on MaL which has been updated to say this is 9 episodes total, is that true. Just when it was getting good, 9 seems like a wierd number for a series.

    Thanks guys

I can confirm it seems to end at episode 9, which I also find both strange and aggravating. Was looking forward to at least half a series of fresh new content we hadn’t already seen in the OVA but I guess the last three episodes is all the conclusion we’ll get…

Minami-ke Okaeri, HalfDog no Jutsu in Naruto fillers and now Munto TV ;/
I hate quality drop :< and as for Munto its chara design that got down, animation is quite good

9 eps huh. That equates to the 3rd OVA that they never released. The 7th eps was a ton of background info so they may very well be able to end this in 2 eps…I just hope it ENDS this time.

Woot thxs again for another release. I’m just wondering if they’s gonna be dvd release or something because right now I got LQ eps (50mbs) each to quickly watch the series so I’m wondering if I can ever see some rips?

  27. asagao
    1:32 pm on February 28th, 2009

No guarantees on the DVDs, ShinnFlowen. Unless you’ve got 56k, I don’t see why you’re not downloading our TV rips (no, I don’t care if you have a cap on your d/l or u/l). We actually *do* work on making our encodes as good as possible, you know 😉

Good weather, huh? Give it back to the old world…the east coast doesn’t need something like that. You already have NY. 😉

By the way…thanks for the episode. ^^

silv: Well, the new material is not even remotely as detailed as the “old” material (the OVAs) but this is a TV-series. It does _not_ have the budget of an OVA. KyoAni are trying to match the frame rate of the new material to the the high frame rate we saw in the old material, and they simply can’t keep the same level of detail up since that would be impossible.

The only _big_ difference the way I see it though is the character design. Munto looks better in the new material in my opinion. He has a longer, more mature face. Yumemi on the other hand… I don’t know, I guess I prefer how she looked in the second OVA. I’ll probably get used to her new look though, since I always liked what I saw in the OP/ED.

Anyhow, I like what I’ve seen so far. It’s too bad that 9 episodes is all we’ll get. The show will be released as a series of five DVDs. The first one costs 3.600 yen and contains one episode. The other four DVDs will cost 5.600 yen each and information about the second DVD states that the playtime is 50 minutes which would mean two episodes. 1×1 + 4×2 = 9.

Hey m.3.3.w, thanks for your releases.

And I’m know I will be a bother with this comment, but would you mind releasing for the remaining episodes, a 720p MKV version?

I don’t see a reason why have you been releasing same res for both AVI and MKV encodes, when there are 720p raws availables out there.

Anyway, looking forward to your next release.

To add to what asagao said: Have you SEEN the 720p raws? There are good upscales and bad upscaled. This one…need a lower adjective.
