v2 coming up; I used a video with very poorly encoded audio, sorry. This is a major change, and will include fixed timing, TS, QC, and TL. Thanks to all our fans for pointing out our mistakes, and yet again emphasizing why we don’t get paid for what we do. –With love, asa

It took a while cause of some gay delays (Blame `Jaka if you want). But its finally here and ep 2 and 3 will follow soon.

And before you ask, no there is no XviD.

Allow me to explain, I asked the Encoder if he wanted to do a low rez version, he said no, so there ya have it. If enough people rage to the point of explosion we may bring XviD/lo-rez back, but dont count on it, sorry. Can you ever forgive me?

Anyway thar she blows!

h264 Wait for v2.

Oh and the Side pic was specially requested by Rika-chama, I myself find the pic distasteful, but he seems to like that stuff.

Well, I know it’s generally /tits/ or GTFO, but a shimapan is fine, too….

~Rika-chama (Ao… Shiro… Ao… Shiro… Ao… Shiro…)

Typical staff: xess – TL; asagao – TL check (Onimal – TLC for ep.2); Rika-chama(Ichigo69) – edit; ThaEagle – typeset; euronymous – karaoke; Chaosrains (new staff) & Jing (new staff) – QC; Nicholi – encode; Saoen – slave-driver/disaster mitigation/distro

Storyline: Tsuzuki Takumi works at a bakery with his sister Otome and childhood friend Souryuu Asuka Langley Serizawa Fumino. Otome likes to bring cats home from her travels, but one day she brings home something a little different…

Genre: Through standard lighthearted mildly-ecchi comedy plotline techniques, hilarity ensues. Think Nogizaka Haruka (Season 1) in terms of seriousness, with more heartwarming fuzziness and dollops of tsundere, but fewer anime references and sugary-sweet flirting scenes. –asagao

    hmm…
I hope u can re-encoded the file to smaller file size…

try watching the 720. Nicholi is one of the best encoders in fansubbing and I was able to watch this on my P4, 1.8Ghz laptop w/ tons of shit running and it didn’t skip or lag.

please Xvid avi versions too, PLEASE! – some of us like to watch on our DVD players on TV, as we sit in front of a monitor for too many hours as it is.

Cool story bro. Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he will eat until his pole breaks.

Also, that’s 2 votes now. Will make a horrible encode if I see 8 more votes.

All in all, this was a very nice release. I watched all of the “popular” sub groups (nuke, doki, ryuumaru, mochi) for this series, and I have to say that I enjoyed yours the most (loyal m.3.3.w fan aha). But some things I was curious about during the show…

I think you forgot to translate one part in the beginning (0:16). After you translated that Fumino gave the bread to the abandoned cat, she also says something along the lines of how someone said she and the cat get along so well cause they were both abandoned. But instead you translated it as “they told me to leave strays alone” (?)

I honestly couldn’t understand what was being said. I watched Ryuumaru’s subs, and seriously thought about putting something like their line in, but I don’t feel right adding lines that I honest-to-god do not hear being said. Nevertheless, I feel there that Ryuumaru chose the more appropriate line. Nevermind, I suck. v2 coming up.

I’m glad you peeps translated the picture and the note from the kid, but I also wished that you translated the school signs at 5:55.

Uh, I dunno how that happened. Here’s the translation: Friendship/Hard work/Victory. (after talking to staff, seems it was too much ::effort::)

Not really use to the “Double-die”, but I’m starting to like and appreciate it more (especially the part where you said “Double-kill”).

Ichigo69 here. Sorry, I have to follow that up w a fakesub I did for that:

    http://ichigo69.mayulive.com/images/misc/Mayoi_Neko_Double_Kill.png

I had the same initial reaction. Double-die is awesome TL.

Not sure, if you guys had the same problem as me, if this was a type setting problem, or if my computer is just acting weird, but the subtitles here suddenly moved up its proper position: (6:11)

    Just your computer.

Asagao could have just said m.3.3.w was doing mayoi neko overrun, he said
“asagaoz: if you’re getting this by way to fthe rumor mill”
“asagaoz: then we do not support or deny rumors”

    that cheeky bastard rofl.

    inorite.

glad you guys picked it up, I was initially staying with doki, then changed to mochi, but now I’m definitely sticking with you guys.

    Thanks. –asagao

P.S. sorry this is so long, I just wanted to say my point of view and state out some comments and questions.

P.S.: I just made your comment twice as long.

Good to see another series from you guys, even if it is a show pretty well covered by other groups.

@philip: I had exactly the same jump in subtitle position as you described… so it’s not just your computer.

hey kojika, i solved the problem. What caused the problem was CCCP beta. You should switch back to the latest release of CCCP (2009-09-09)

    3:58 pm on April 24th, 2010

Well that’s odd because I’m already using CCCP 09/09/09!

Actually I think the problem is more straightforward than that… there is a timing overlap in the subtitles at that point.

Dialogue: 0,0:06:06.38,0:06:10.78,lolcat,,0000,0000,0000,,You worked until dawn to bake a cake because Master Otome wasn’t here to do it?
Dialogue: 0,0:06:10.76,0:06:12.76,lolcat,,0000,0000,0000,,You sure have it rough, don’t you?

Remuxing the script back in without an overlap cures it.

    Noted, fixed in v2.

Is this show follows the storyline of the manga? ‘Couse it’s a bit strange to make 12 episodes from 3 chapters :S

I know this is off topic, however when I used the ‘contact us’ email before I never received a reply. (This was a while ago, not recently)

The batch torrent links for most of m33w’s completed projects are broken. Just about the only ones that still work are the anirena ones or nyaatorrents.

Is there any way these could be fixed? I would really like to watch a few of these again. Please and thank you.

Korokun has been having internet issues for the past several months. If you need to get in contact with us staff members, try either the chatbox to the right of the page, or #m.3.3.w @ irc.rizon.net (find someone with an @ or & by their name, if using IRC).

Our private torrent tracker died, sorry. Life sucks sometimes. However, you may download back episodes (nearly all of them) via our “Releases” page, under “m33w archives”.

If all else fails, please (but only as a last resort) PM Rika-chama and tell me what you need and I can probably start seeding.
