This isn’t something I normally do but today is a new day. We are in dire need of Quality Checkers (also known as QC) to help QC our current and future releases. If you think you may be interested just find our recruitment channel and ask anyone in the channel with a & or myself.

Just a bit of friendly info before you do so though. Please have some form of experience because we dont want to teach you how to use Aegisub or various other programs or how to turn on your computer.

    >implying that there are people who know how to torrent who don’t know how to turn on a computer

    O U

If you don’t know what Aegisub is and still want to apply for the job (I mean, I didn’t know what that was before I started subbing), you can always use your favorite search engine to look the program up and learn its various functions… …

    Hi,

Why is it important for a QC to know what Aegisub is ? Doesn’t he basically watch the release candidate and send a pre-formatted report to the team telling what’s wrong with the release ?

dunno if you guys forgot, but you actually have a section to teach people how to sub lol. The “Bored” Section has a General Staff Guide, Timing Guide, and Editing Guide. :]

I do know. But I have had to many people come to me applying for a position with no knowledge whatsoever of what Aegisub even is.

For QC, Notepad should technically be enough. I do actually have Aegisub installed as well, though.
