Due to Daiz’s New Law, we will not be uploading any newer files to Tokyo Toshokan as it takes time and effort to do it, and… and… seriously it’s just fucking dumb to go through that needless waste of effort. Until they intergrate or… I don’t know… wade through the bullshit to get what you want, we’ll just be sticking with Nyaa.

I’ll update this post later after the SGC 2014 gaming convention in Dallas, TX, probably sometime after the 14th of July.

If you don’t want to upload torrents to TT, don’t upload torrents to TT. No “law” necessary. There doesn’t seem to be a need to upload to TT anyway, since AnimeTosho actively gets everything from Nyaa, or some individual person uploads every single torrent from a major fansub group.

I just worry about what happens when Nyaa shuts down, or is forced down by threat of lawsuit for some reason.
Not that TT is really that great, but the legality of indexing like that doesn’t seem to be in doubt.

Why not both?
It is just an index. It doesnt take more than 5 min to upload to it. How big pain in the ass is toshokan? because i used to upload my file to them and didnt notice anything.
