• EPISODE 9 it has been ETERNITY!!! I think anime airing in japan is on friday, the raws that are good are on saturday (sometimes 4 hrs. late friday) and the SUB appears TODAY SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

Itazura 22
xess is translating it right now. The capper for the transport stream also messed up with this episode, so we’re gonna be using a crappy raw for this week. Nothing we can do! Here are some more CR gems though.

Nogizaka 08
This one will be out tomorrow. BiGGuY had to go to sleep early since it’s a Sunday night and he couldn’t stay up late enough to push it out tonight. There was no transport stream for this episode because the capper was busy. That’s why this is somewhat ahead of schedule.

Special A 21
I know this one is rather slow, but the bulk of the delay is waiting for the transport stream to come to us. Typesetting also can’t begin till we get the .ts because it has to use the correct raw. It’s easier to just do it in one shot instead of doing it on a different raw and then shifting everything later. I don’t really have an ETA, but the earliest you’ll probably see this is in a day or two. Most likely 2.

Itazura 21
xess is working on the translation for this ep now. There’s still plenty of work that needs to be done for this, so this won’t be out for a few days.

Ran 10
This one is at translation check. It’s probably a little ahead of Itazura 21 in terms of release schedule, but not by much.

Seto 19
The typesetting is progressing slowly but surely. ThaEagle works on it whenever he has time to spare while not typesetting our weekly shows. I asked him a few days ago and he said he was at 50%, but he’s done more since then, so somewhere in between now.

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien OVA 4
People have been asking about this, but we still haven’t found a raw for this any where. If we ever find it, we will let you guys know. But until then, don’t ask about it until you see a raw for it somewhere.

w.0.0.f hentai subs
We were bored so we decided to start subbing new hentai in our free time. No one had subbed Sora no Iro, Mizu no Iro 02, so we went ahead and did that. Our next hentai release should be soon as well. What will it be? You’ll just have to wait and find out. 🙂

Secret project
We’ve also been working on an OVA the past few days. Hopefully you’ll see that one released soon as well.

So yeah, as you can see, we’ve been busy with a lot of stuff. The next post will hopefully be Nogizaka 08 tomorrow. I leave you with a pic of deredere Akira.

Special A 20
This will be out tomorrow. The script and TS are done, and will be encoded tomorrow. Soichiro (the encoder) has a rather irregular sleep cycle so I don’t know when he’ll be around.

Nogizaka Haruka 07
If all goes well, we’re hoping for a release tomorrow as well. TS and Editing are done, and it just has to be QC’ed and encoded tomorrow. If all goes well, SA 20 will be out earlier in the day and Nogizaka 07 will be released that night. It will be out on Monday at the latest.

Itazura na Kiss 20
TL is done and waiting on translation check. I can’t give any estimation for release day though. I’ll let you know as we release the other two episodes first.

Seto no Hanayome 19
This one is at typesetting. ThaEagle has been busy with the other shows so he hasn’t had time to get on this one. Hopefully he’ll have time tomorrow or Monday.

Other news
I’m going back to college on Tuesday, so I will be sorta M.I.A. as I start packing up my stuff. That’s all for now.

Nogizaka 05
Encoding will begin tonight when BiGGuY gets back from work. We’ll be QCing the script and TS during the day while we wait. If all goes well, it should be released tonight, but tomorrow at the very latest. We also got a transport stream for Nogizaka now, so the quality will be much improved. I know people bitched about the blurriness in episode 4, so we looked into getting a different raw source. I saw some before and after pictures of the episode 5 encode, and it looks great.

Itazura na Kiss 18
Waiting on translation check. This one has quite a bit of medical terms, so that might be a source of hold ups. We have a few TL checkers so hopefully they can collectively figure them all out in case asagao can’t get it by himself (he should be able to though ;)).

Special A 19
Were waiting on the transport stream for this one as well. If you saw the episode 18 picture quality, I think you’d agree that it is worth every single second that we wait for it. The script is also waiting on translation check, but the transport stream doesn’t come to us for a few days. This is also a Megumi episode if you haven’t already heard, so the TS is insane once again.

Seto no Hanayome 19
I’ve finally gotten some time to work on this. This show is truly a fansubber’s nightmare from almost every aspect. If I didn’t have the actual Japanese scripts, this show would be impossible to do accurately. Episode 19 is about halfway done with editing. Hopefully I can have it ready for ThaEagle for typesetting when he gets back from vacation. You guys will have non-shitty subs for this great show eventually.
I have no idea what’s going on with the DVD’s. The ripper seems to have dropped off the face of the earth. I might ask BiGGuY to continue them for me, but TV rips come first.

In other news
Our typesetter, ThaEagle, went on vacation today, and won’t be back for 5 days I think. xess and maybe Soichiro will pick up the slack on SA 19. Thankfully ThaEagle did the Itazura 18 TS before he left though, so that is taken care of. That’s it for today.

Big day around the world as the Olympics begin today. I personally don’t like the summer games too much, so I don’t really care. The winter games are where it’s at. Anyway, I have a few minor updates.

Baka-wolf
As you all know, we’ve split from Baka-wolf several days ago. However, they still host our files on their DDL. You may still get them there.

Itazura na Kiss
Itazura na Kiss will now air on Saturdays on channel TBS. CBC decided to air episode 16 twice in a row for some reason, so now they don’t air Itazura first anymore. Sun TV is two weeks behind. Please delay your whining by 3 days to make up for this change. 😉

This does however kinda spoil our scheduling as everything gets packed into the weekend.

Special A
We’ve been swapping some staff around for Special A because of how swamped we are with so many projects. Though we did also do four projects at a time two seasons ago. Seems like people are a bit more busy this season. Clephas will be the new translation checker for S-A. TS will be jointly done by xess, Revenant and ThaEagle now.

Also, please welcome Soichiro, our new encoder for S-A, who will hopefully be able to obtain transport streams for Special A on a consistent basis. The raw quality for Special A has been notoriously bad and we’re hoping that getting the transport streams will improve the video quality. The script itself is 100% ready, and typesetting is on hold until we get the transport stream and make a work raw out of it.

Anirena
Some of you may be experiencing problems with Anirena. They’ve apparently incorrectly banned certain IPs or something, I don’t know. Either way, we’ll be multi-tracking using nyaa torrents from now on to solve this problem. We are in no way affiliated with Anirena, so that’s out of our control.

As most of you probably know by now, m33w has left the Baka-Wolf network. You might be worried about the availability of DDLs of our releases now. However, I was informed by one of the Baka-Wolf admins that they will continue to support us by providing DDLs there.

This post here will explain all you need to know about why we left. We do not hate Baka-Wolf for this, but at the same time we cannot endorse what had been done.

As for my personal input, I do believe that it’d be best for everyone if Silence stepped down as the head administrator of Baka-Wolf, which he has. The new interim, or perhaps permanent, head admin is Versude. The reason why I think so isn’t because I question Silence’s ability as a leader, but it is that he has more important things in life to take care of instead of Baka-Wolf which is meant to be a non-profit venture. Please don’t rely on us for help, but rely on the ones closer to you. No matter how you see it, I am but another faceless person behind the anonymity of the internet living 10,000 miles away. I cannot provide you a steady job for income. But, I do wish you the best of luck, Silence. Thanks for all the help you have given me and m33w.

It is with deep regret that I announce today the departure of m.3.3.w Fansubs from the Baka-Wolf network effectively immediately. It may come as a shock to you at how sudden this came to pass. It was quite an unexpected turn of events for us too.

The main reason why m.3.3.w joined Baka-Wolf eight months ago was for the community. Baka-Wolf managed to create a big and fun community of anime fans. Our staff has greatly enjoyed the posts, commentaries and discussions.

I guess you’d like to know the reason for our sudden departure. We were recently made aware of some disturbing news, which pointed out some problems on Baka-Wolf. Unfortunately, I won’t reveal any more than that.

Hastily, we had to make a decision. I did not want to pursue the matter any further and let things drag on, thus I proposed to sever all ties with Baka-Wolf. The senior members voted unanimously in favor. It had not been an easy decision, but one that had to be made.

I’m sorry that I cannot provide more details because I wish to be spared the drama. But, what’s most important is, by putting this issue behind us and leaving unnecessary distractions behind, we can again focus on what we initially set out to do – fansub.

And to the people who contributed the banners:
May I kindly ask those who put the words “part of the baka-wolf network” to remove that from the banners and resubmit?

tun edit: I just wanted to clear some confusion. We (m.3.3.w) will continue to sub all of the shows that we’re working on. There seems to be a misconception as to the roles of m.3.3.w and Baka-Wolf. m.3.3.w was always the entity that fansubbed the shows. Baka-Wolf is a anime forum that provided Direct Download services for our releases as well as for other shows.

As some of you may have noticed, Itakiss appears to not have aired this week. It normally airs at midnight every Wednesday on CBC. Whatever you see on other sites saying that it’s Friday midnight is incorrect. That’s the TBS one and that is the 2nd airing of the syndication. But whatever it is, it appears that both those channels did not air, thus there won’t be any Itakiss this week. The other three shows should be out as normal.

Oh, a 9th banner, a new one by Richard Omega depicting Nogizaka Haruka + maids has been added. Thank you for your kind contribution.

Update: TBS finally aired Itakiss 17. Work on Itakiss 17 will begin soon.

Itazura 16 – TS is done. TLC will be done tonight, and it should be out tomorrow.

Special A 16 – We scaled back the TS for this particular episode. Megumi finally slayed ThaEagle and we had to split up the work because he was getting overworked with this. Revenant foolishly accepted the responsibility and he got owned by Megumi as well. ETA is a day or two, most likely two.

Nogizaka 03 – Waiting on TS which should hopefully get done tomorrow. Everything else is ready.

Ran 06 – QC is done, just needs to be applied and then encoded. Should also be out tomorrow, but I don’t know for sure since I don’t work on that particular show.

That’s all for now. xess is working on Special A 17 right now. I did notice a few signs in this episode but I don’t think it’s anywhere near the amount in episode 16.
