Actually, I wasn’t planning on doing True Tears. I turned down several offers asking me to translate it. I wanted to let other people handle it. But, our group seems to really want to do it. On top of that, I was quite disappointed with the release speed of others despite the fact so many groups are on it. We released late because I only started working on it less than half a day ago. I really like True Tears and I think the show deserves better attention and brought to the fans sooner.
As usual, this release contains nothing fancy. The karaoke has no special effects and the main dialogue font is plain white Arial. However, the translation/editing should be of an acceptable quality for something done in like 3-4 hours. We apologise for our stupid typos. True Tears airs on Sunday, so expect subs out for True Tears every Sunday/Monday depending on your time zone.
The XviD version is in standard definition. Easy to play for everyone. The h264 version will be in high definition. It’s a real HD show and not an upscale. So the video quality should be pretty awesome. Enjoy.

Thank you very much for not spending time on fancy karaoke effects, if the anime opening itself has good animation any fancy effects only clutter the screen and detract focus away from the actual “anime” anyways.

Was there really any group that wanted to do it? I was thinking only Moetaku would be subbing it and no one else.
Since I’m only checking AniDB out for groups that will be doing releases on the series.

This series looks very promising, seeing as it isn’t one of those huge-tit-waving, panty-flashing ones, of which one can’t expect a decent story. I already saw a raw 3 days ago but still some of the words eluded me so i sure am thankful for a trustworthy translation from your group.

There were actually four groups that claimed to sub this, but only one has come through so far (and that was extremely late). But I am really in love with m.3.3.w right now because they picked up H20, Rosario AND True Tears. I’m just really at a loss for words, but I cant hold back my utter excitement anymore!!

I was gonna beg for a place to dl just the sub file, but this is even better. Been racking my head trying to figure out what’s the deal with the chickens, flying, & something about a curse?! It’s just I need to dl the entire file again;( Is BG still you’re raw source & what’s the resolution (1280×720) on the h264 version? You must have been bombarded constantly to the point of overflowing email inbox. The demand was overwhelmingly strong that you guys just HAD to be dragged in, and for that, we’re extremely grateful. lol
