Here’s the deal. To avoid comment-dumping, if you would like us to sub a show from the current season, please petition here.

Note that you should use reason in your requests — do not ask us to sub shounen sh*t. Also, we will not work on any licensed shows from this season.

m.3.3.w TLC since February 2008. Likes drama, psychological anime (ironically doesn’t like shoujo). Other interests include philosophy, music, and literature.

I know this has been suggested countless times already, but Kimi ni Todoke is a great manga so hopefully the anime will be as well. I saw on the blog that you’re not sure if it’ll be good, asagao, but so far I’ve read up to chapter 18 of the manga and it does a great job of steering clear of stereotypes and cliches. There are several instances that I was worried it would fall into the typical shoujo pattern, but it successfully rejected the idea. I can’t say how the anime will be, but if it’s as close to the manga as I expect it will be, it’s going to be a great show.

I would like you guys to sub Winter Sonata too. I have high hopes for it, so it’d be great to have quality subbers working on the show 🙂

Thank you to all who replied. Unfortunately, we are at capacity right now, so no one can fulfill the requests. Sorry about that — nothing I can do about it (except stop going to school, and that’s not an option). If no one good subs Kimi ni Todoke (note: fansubwiki claims Frostii is doing it), I may or may not work on it over my winter break. Other stuff doesn’t really interest me, can’t speak for anyone else — but, yeah, we can’t work on any more this season.

Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama! I heard they’re making an anime out of this I love the manga and I only just started reading it. I know it’s Shoujo but please oh please sub this one when it comes out! The guy who does the voice for Raven from Earl and Fairy is supposed to do the lead male’s voice. Though I’m disapointed it’s not the guy who does the voice for Kanda (the girl who voices Allen in D.Grey-man is supposed to voice the girl) I’m really looking forward to watching it. You guys are some of the best subbers out there. You do all my faves.

Oh wait you mean this season! Sorry I thought it was coming out this fall but it’s not slated until ’10 but could you do it when it does come out? Hint Hint Hint!

Anime Junky. I love to sew, write, cook (especially Japanese food), Architecture (especially Japanese), write, clothes (especially Japanese)… Can you tell I like Japanese stuff (especially Bishies!) and writing of course Anime: Earl And Fairy/Saiunkoku Monogatari they’re tied I can’t choose one over the other so don’t ask, Shounen Onmyouji, Tactics (blink and it’s not Shounen-ai), Fushigi Yugi (the origional I haven’t seen the others yet my bro had the origional subbs), Get Backers, Ayakashi Ayashi Tenpo Ibun, Tales of the Abyss, Pandora Hearts, Ouran High host Club (yeah for reverse harem!), Valkyria/Tears to Tiara, Shining Tears X Wind, Meine Liebe, Haruka Naru Toki no Naka de, Angelique (neo and the original), Tsubasa/xxxholic (though I’m not too thrilled with how they’re ending the manga of x but I won’t spoil it for every one else (personally though I like knowing if things have a happy ending first) just to name a few. I also Love!!!!! Majin Tantei Nogami Neuro!!!!!!!! Just about anything Seki Toshihiko is in unless he played a bad guy! Seriously I don’t like it when my fav voices play a bad guy except the lovable Sa Sakugun perhaps that’s the only time I rooted for the bady but I’ll take Kelpie any day. I’m more into the good guy type, you know like Seiran (a reformed bady or just a goody with a bad streak)! Can you say the same for Edgar?

was just wondering if you guys had considered subbing the Munto movie(Last War of Heavenloids and Akutoloids) which came out after the series aired and since u did the series and I was hoping the movie might continue the story a bit(not sure since on ann it’s listed as Last War of Heavenloids and Akutoloids (movie) (compilation)).
