It’s been a long gruesome wait, but the grand finale and the final chapter of School Days is finally here. I’d like to thank you all for supporting us. It’s made the experience so much more worth while. The finale was preempted by all the other TV stations except AT-X. I think that in itself is quite a major spoiler to the expected events that would unfold in the final chapter. To the fans who were disappointed with episode 11, surely the finale will be a very satisfying conclusion. Nice boat!

As Josh noted previously (at least in the chat..) is that the morning slot (10:30) is for School Days episode 11. They’re doing a re-airing of that first.
Following later at the 9:30 night time slot is the broadcast of School Days episode 12. That is JST times. Again, I believe Josh is right as far as the time of airing (8:30 AM, EST,)
For those who are going to be seeking a raw, I’d guess and give it the typical two or so hours after the broadcast. So, by the time 10:30 AM, EST rolls around, a raw version of the episode should be fixing to start floating around. As for the m33w release time, since this won’t be one of those releases where we’re looking at “Mr. Netherlands” as some users call him being asleep, we’ll have a decent time release..

Completely agree. The U.S. is just being retarded about everything anymore. Harry Potter and how there are so many groups seeking it being banned nationally, especially in schools because “It’s causing children to actively seek to become a witch” and so on. Give me a break. -.o;
Or like how most schools aren’t allowed to celebrate Christmas, Halloween, even Thanksgiving or Easter anymore. Gym is being removed as well. I NEVER claimed there were not murders using axes in the U.S. Obviously there are, but what was being discussed is that if it happened and got TONS of publicity and such. Never said there weren’t. Re-read my comment and see that I never claim that there isn’t any axe crimes.

Well it just so happens; whenever someone gets murdered where i live (Suwanee, GA) it seems they start making laws that make my life more difficult.

Here’s some info from RC: “-According to the people who went to the special screening of the final episode that Overflow held, the AT-X broadcast was edited heavily. In the uncut version, not only was the blood was red, there were no flashbacks during the Makoto stabbing scene (they showed a lot more of where she stabbed him), they actually showed Makotofs head in the bag, and there were apparently some noises added to the baby-confirmation scene.”

I almost felt bad for Makoto, it seemed he finally realized where he went wrong, sadly it was too late, the damage was done and the only way he could have salvaged anything was a clean break with both girls.

Setsuna also warned Makoto(us) about Sekai’s mental state(which is probably why she gave up on Makoto in the first place).
Sekai either was getting delusional believing herself to be pregnant so she was starting to feel the effects(I mean seriously when was the last time Makoto and her slept together wouldn’t we have seen some signs before?)
Ofcourse the other option is that it was Kotohana that was delusional and pretended not to notice though I doubt this is true…
I would have prefered it if in the end she would be lying on the bench hugging Makoto’s head while the police closed in on her but what are you going to do…
Makoto got what he deserved but I hate how they made it seem so violent. Where as in the game Makoto’s death is so much more calmer and sweeter(Also the moment you see the life escaping Makoto’s eyes is just great)…

Even if we gave a huge benefit of the doubt, and said Sekai was 8 weeks along, the embryo would still only be 1/2 inches long. I’m not sure she was that far along, and I mean, given Kotonoha’s mental state and how she “checked” Sekai, missing that would be pretty easy.
We already knew Kotonoha’s mental state was off, so I don’t see how we can reliably expect her to come to a correct conclusion on Sekai’s pregnancy.

Point-counter point time:
It’s not unreasonable to believe that Sekai had psychosomatic symptoms of her being pregnant. There are actual instances that it can happen. I actually know someone who thought she was, but actually wasn’t. Before anyone asks, IT WASN’T ME! (No, seriously, it wasn’t!) If Makoto hired a lawyer, he would’ve advised him: EPT 1st, DNA 2nd, then alimony. LOL
Timeline-wise, nobody really knows how long when Makoto & Sekai 1st “got it on”. I know it might tempt some people to actually go back & re-watch all the episodes, but to the best of my memories, I didn’t see any calendar or even the time on their cellphones. There are also reported cases when women just gave birth, without actually knowing that they were pregnant in the 1st place, believe it or not!
But ultimately, my point is this: would you think it wise to question someone who just decapitated a dead body, hacked the neck, & then did an improptu autopsy of a woman?! Sure Kotonoha went psycho in the end, but for others who want absolute concrete proof that Sekai wasn’t pregnant just ask her where she hid the body so it can be CSI’d after she comes back from her boat trip. LOL Oh wait, that was the final episode!
Somebody should’ve called Bob Barker & had Makoto spayed & neutered by episode 4. ROTFL But then again, we wouldn’t have had this intense & tragic ending. Maybe in the end, Kotonoha prayed to Oyashiro-sama & borrowed Rena’s cleaver (reference to Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni)?

A lot of anime’s these days are really starting to suck. It’s as if studios are afraid to try anything new and all we get is the same old shit. School days in particular started off pretty slow. At first, I honestly thought it was going to to be another crappy sappy harem anime. there was no foreshadowing in the begining, whatsoever. I think Sekai should have stabbed both of Makoto and Kotonoha when they started making out at Makoto’s apartment. Despite all of Makoto’s wrong doings, I think that may have been the worst thing he did in the entire show.
Burn in hell Makoto. I hope the devil spends his days prodding your balls with a spear.
Too bad Makoto had to bring Sekai down with him. I felt more sympathy for her than any other character in this show. Oh and Kotonoha was annoying from the start, I never liked her. As for the pregnancy thing, I’m almost certain that Sekai was pregnant
a) morning sickness
b) missed period
c) only doubter was Kotonoha and she was nuts

If Sekai really was’nt pregnant, she still could have had a psychosemantic (sp?) reaction and could veyr well experience many of the symptoms of pregnancy including missing her period, morning sickness, etc. I think I’d take Kotonoha’s word for it that Sekai was’nt really pregnant, but she still believed she was and she certainly wanted to be. Whether kotonoha was right or not, we’ll never know, since the series is over. I personally, jsut think it’s unlikely that the people who made this anime would put something so open ended into the last episode.

Because we do not realise directly that she is.Who is the second one,but one we know of? Kotonoha.But Kotonoha was the one who would have lived a perfectly normal life if she was under control.because when she was dumped she still had *some* mind as not to start killing people.(remember the knife flash with her?)
I actually felt sorry for Kotonoha,because she was the biggest victim of the series,the sacrifice peon,while that dickhea* Makoto was being played indirectly by Sekai and directly by Setsuna…green hair).
The blame will go directly on Kotonoha,sadly,Sekai is dead,but she shouldn’t be,and Makoto…well…his death was f**ked up…I;m against violence (yes,not like the girls who scream death to makoto) and feel that..since he didn;t kill anybody,except their feelings,he shouldn’t have faced so much. If I was him,and as stupid and evil as him (common sense would have stopped me from bangin’ every girl while I have a girlfriend,and….a hole is a hole),I would have changed highschool immediately,or just dissapear.If in the end he loved Kotonoha,wich he did in the beginning,where the meddleing of Setsuna and Sekai,I would have asked her to save me from the crap,and would have dedicated my time to her,and to caring for her,since,in the end…she has a good heart,even if a bit off the nut.She even tried to help Sekai,the ex of his boyfriend.And she accepted that sleezeball back.She suffered humiliation time and time again,just that he would love her.And when he said goodbye,she was really sad…but no premeditated murder.She waited if he will come back.

actually i believe Sekai wasn’t pregnant, first of all for some who might not know, it’s possible to have all the pregnancy symptoms without actually being pregnant, it’s a mental disorder, which actually fits well in Sekai’s personality and explains a lot of what happened..
similar thing for Kotonoha, she understand Sekai wasn’t pregnant but she was also obsessed by Makoto and mentally unstable, so “opening” Sekai’s body was more like to give her one more “reason” to kill her than to actually see something..
personally, like someone already said i would prefer that she had committed suicide after killing Sekai.. the boat scene was kinda lame π

I agree with everyone that makoto had what was coming to him. Makoto was cheating on sekai and Katsura they should have gave up on that piece of trash after he started all that mess they deserved better, that girl otome had the right idea. The ending was good and bad at the same time but overall it was good because it didn’t turn into a typical harem anime.

it was most likely that sekai was pregnant, she began to get morning sickness and her periods weren’t coming. What kotonoha said about “So it is true, there is nothing inside of you” probably had a different meaning to what we saw it as , to what kotonoha actually meant it to be. She probably meant it as a soul/spiritual/heart thing, by taking makoto away from kotonoha, kotonoha probably saw sekai as a heartless person by taking her boyfriend away from her, when sekai in the beginning chose to support the two. so when she said here is nothing inside of you, she probably meant that sekai has no heart/ doesn’t for everyone else sort of thing.

I agree that she was pregnant. I also agree that it’s a misunderstanding. It could have simply meant that has nothing inside her because she just got gutted like a fish, for example..
Bleh, Sekai was pregnant. To repeat again what hoa’s points, and some of my own.. Sekai did have morning sickness. Sekai did miss her period(‘s). Sekai was pregnant for about ONE month, which means the baby would be extremely small. Kotonoha has no medical background to tell if a child is in Sekai or not. The cut on Sekai, the angle shown puts the slash under the ribs, where as babies grow lower down and grow into the area that was likely cut.
To clear up an obvious error by the original Wiki Entry but some people still are spreading this incorrect information.. Kotonoha does not kill Sekai with the same knife that Sekai used to kill Makoto. You clearly see Sekai have that knife in an attempt to kill Kotonoha, which gets dropped after Kotonoha blocks and Kotonoha uses a meat cleaver to kill Sekai.
That wiki entry also declared that Sekai was not pregnant, which given the points above, there are simply too many points still pushing towards a pregnancy compared to her not being pregnant. π
