With Takuma running out of time, this episode reveals much about Hayami’s past and why the people of the village hate their family so.

Also, there was an encoding glitch in the h264 version of the previous episode of the ‘show that cannot be named’. We apologise for that, but since the episode is still playable, there will be no v2.

Next, I believe I should mention this again. To be able to properly play the h264 releases in sync, you’ll need CoreAVC and not the FFDshow decoder packaged in CCCP. To properly play the HE-AAC audio, you’ll need to use the FFDshow audio decoder. Without that, the audio will really sound like 22k audio and that’s really bad. CoreAVC is packaged inside the k-lite codec pack. If you want to keep CCCP, then CoreAVC may be downloaded separately. If this doesn’t solve your playback problems, then please download the XviD version instead. That’s hassle free and plays on almost anything.

Lastly, I would like to kindly request viewers to not have unrealistic expectations in terms of audio and video quality of the releases. These shows come from free TV stations. (at least I believe they are free) Furthermore, the quality is limited by the recording equipment and encoding skill of the raw capper. What you see and hear in the h264 releases are very close to what you get in the raws. The video quality isn’t cinema quality and the audio is not Dolby Surround or THX. It’s TV quality(for the weekly shows).

Thank you and please enjoy H2O.

Thanks! And, in line with what some other people noted above: I’ve been watching several of your shows in h264, including H2O, with an unmodified CCCP and have not had any kind of audio problems.

I have been watching the ‘other shows’ without any problems. How is this latest episode fucked? Anyway it won’t be much of a problem getting CoreAVC *Cough*.

Shessh !! That true, it look like CoreAVC pretty easy to get. Good thing that I *dig some tunnel* today. CoreAVC, maybe worth the try.

One should not comment more than once, I guess, but: after having watched the ep – this is seriously a step in the right direction for this series, much better.

CCCP has not failed me yet. Well it did once but quick unistall/re-install fixed it.

  33. Awsome release. Love the work going on with series. Not sure if you guys have noticed but this release is in 4×3 video mode with a letterboxed 16×9. Hope that helps.

    @Xess

Please help me out. I’m noticing that when I just closed a program and then at the same time I’m watching True tears before, I got out of sync and the video seems to fall behind the audio. In particular this happens during the start of the ep during the leaves falling scenes. I’m using the CCCP codecs and MPC player and I just read this post regarding the COREAVC codec that we should use instead of the FFDSHOW decoder for H264.mkv releases, I have now downloaded the Coreavc and installed yet I don’t know how to switch it on aka. switching from using FFDSHOW to coreavc just for the H264 videos.

Can you help me out? this goes to anyone out there because I know a lot are like me having troubles watching M33W great fansubs.

Thanks!!! thanks a lot people! More power!

Go to some torrent search site like btjunkie or mininova or whatever and search CoreAVC. Or you could buy it directly from CoreAVC.com

and @Joseph, please check your software settings on your decoder. The 4:3 ratio is caused by a software override. Our encoder has a widescreen monitor, so it’s impossible for him to not notice this problem.

    8:59 am on February 10th, 2008

@xess… I think you have misunderstood my previous post… I already have the COREAVC codec and have already installed it yet the MPC still uses the old FFDSHOW codec for H264? This is what I was asking help for… Thanks!

  38. mooramoon
    9:36 am on February 10th, 2008

I already figured out how to make it work… First go to the CCCP settings then turn FFDSHOW off for the h264… Then at the MPC options add the external filter Core… Enjoy!!!

Thanks for replying to my question though…

  39. Thanks for the information Xess! I see what I can do to correct the probelm on my end. Not sure how to though.

I have never had an issue with the quality of the subs you guys put out. Every episode I’ve watched has had great audio and very legible subtitles. You guys do some great work!

This was a pretty good episode. I’m glad they at least explained the whole Hayami situation.

The Latest version of K-Lite codec pack has removed CoreAVC so if you are going to use it you must download CoreAVC seperatly.
