So, I was watching Haruka on Crunchyroll, where I have a one-year subscription, because I support the American anime licensing industry — after all, Crunchyroll has done everything we in the anime community have been asking for for years (“I’d stop watching fansubs if Japan would just give us legal subs as soon as the episode came out in Japan”, etc. etc.), and I have to respect that…

There’s a lot of steam in an onsen/rotenburo. I understand that. But it’d be nice if the steam didn’t cover the entire screen for minutes at a time.

Oh my, I’m getting ahead of myself. Anyway, in this first episode of the second season of Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, Haruka and her friends (Yoshiko and Naha, and some others too) go to a hot springs to relax. Pretty typical episode, though we do have a new character (I think she’s new anyway — I didn’t finish watching the first season).

The opening and ending songs are pretty nice as well, if you’re lucky enough to know Japanese (since Crunchyroll didn’t sub the songs and all).

Also, lacrosse is the best sport ever (Haruna > Haruka).

P.S.: Sorry for the delayed blog post for episode 1. Episode 2 blog post should be very soon (within a day or two of Crunchyroll airing it).

xess edit: I love CR (This is just a screenshot of what I see from CR, not the actual video)

well, CR would indeed be awesome – if it did allow people out of the US to watch their shows … kinda pisses me off to be honest^^

Man… I really love that edit from xess ><
I understand how it sucks that some of us (including me) who are from regions other than the west, can't see the anime series.
That's just the exact thingI hate about crunchyroll -.-

I get that same message. :’o
    Sucks. But oh well.
Thank gawd for fansub groups. :’]

Guess what, I get the same message xess gets. I also got a subscription in CR for the exact same reasons asagao did. But I get that message for MORE than HALF the shows there, more like 3/4 of the current lineup to be accurate.

This is what replaces fansubs? Sorry but I won’t be renewing a useless subscription. If they ever get their facts straight I’ll think about it. For now CR is a US ONLY site as far as I am concerned. [/end rant]

CR is legal for US not for any other country
I live in the same country as tun 🙂

This is the reason I don’t like CR.
They don’t allow anyone outside US to stream their contents.

Please use the comments area to comment, not to promote other groups’ subs. Thank you 🙂

is B-G gonna do the BluRay of season 1?

    Maybe.
I’d be surprised if the DVD’s were more uncensored than the uncensored TV broadcasts, though…

It is a sad day for anime when good fansub groups start to accept a moneygrab like crunchyroll as ‘what the community has been asking for for years’.

I also was waiting for your quality subs of this series, especially with how CR did, crappy subs, but I guess I will have to tolerate it,

I bought the blu-ray set of season 1, ouch it hurt my pocket book, and no subs, but I am learning Japanese so one day I will be able to watch it, that will be the last blu-ray set I buy from Japan, unless they add subtitles to their releases

Also a part in the ED.
But that doesn’t matter, really. Lawl

It might just be lag in your video player. Soft subbed karaokes and fast moving OP scenes on HD tend to do that.

    @Wija-chan

You know what you can do? Get cccp. I had the same problem and m33w staff was kind enough to go through my stupidity; step by step. So easiest thing you can do is just Google cccp codec click this link and enjoy. Good luck.

Added link. plz2get this and uninstal every other piece of shit video programmes you might have, people. kthxbai

Im pretty sure its legit. Well, as legit as a fan sub can be.

I think I’m going to ask my college to pay for a CR account so my club can watch streaming shows without having to go through ads and being able to see it in HD (on many occasions) the only issue is getting a fast connection to run it off of.
